nice movies you make! really want to make the trip over from Norway in 2024! how much travel on the shock do you ride with? tire choice?

Thanks!😀I have 150mm up front and 140mm rear. More than enough for the average trails. As for tires I like the Assegai up front and dhr2 on the back.
The trails on Vancouver Island are best in the spring and fall but are ridable usually 12 months a year. Usually have a week or two of some snow

@@CowichanMTB Rocky Mountain Instinct? isn't it a bit heavy for BC bike race? I thought to traveling with the 120/110 bike🤔🤔

+Tretterud Bike-mix it was more of a bc bike ride for me. There was a pretty good mix of bikes there. Mainly xc bikes but a lot of bikes
similar to the instinct. Some people even had enduro bikes

My old stomping grounds, ha you're lucky they didn't make you climb to the top of "three little Pigs" beautiful trails up there
