This is such a great video, demonstrating the challenges we face, and the rewards of getting that great sequence that tells such a fantastic visual story. This is very encouraging and inspiring for image makers everywhere. Thank you. Thumbs UP. Much appreciated.

those are varroa desructor mites. One of the honeybees worst enemies. He mentions earlier in the video that one thing that scientists are doing is trying to develop mite resistant bees. These are the mites.
That's just what I was telling someone e couple of months ago, there was a honey bee on some flowers and the other person was about to kill it. I said just leave it alone, I walked over to the bush it was in to show that person that it's not going to harm them, stood by it for a good few minutes & I asked "do you like to eat and look at the flowers?" And also explained without bees we would not have crops That's the bee's job, without them we'd have pretty much nothing
Mites and disease only comes to honeybees if they are with weakened immune systems...just like us humans... fix thier environment and beekeeping practices. Biodynamic honeybee keepers experience less than 15% losses per year... where Big Ag and conventional beekeeping sees 50% + losses per year...do a documentary on that one for sure.
Tremendous effort of making the shrinking of these earthlings, that could kill me if they sting me, bring their demise to the forefront of all other items, and hopefully make them protected and loved. 🐝💗😘💋😇
What do you even mean? We've been doing that for so many years, it's passed the point of the banal. If we didn't, many ecosystems would fall, and many people would starve.

Idk if we should be genetically modifying insects or animals
we havent got a choice... if they going to do it they just will i think
What do you even mean?

Yeah it helps with mass production so we can feed people, animals, and such.
Better that than extinction. Genetic modification is just artificial selection instead of waiting for natural selection to catch up
yo mama is genetically modified.
Awesome. Same channel that makes idiotic videos about sportfishing. Oy veh.
