Thank you for this video, I've been obsessed with arm drags and I love seeing different variations. So thank you for this guide! more power to all of you!
The arm drag has been my kryptonite so far. I can take it, but giving it is the part I struggle with. I hook and always get my arm caught underneath the guy taking it when he goes over
Thank you so much for all your tips, we are trying to safely trying to teach our new wrestlers, and trying to start a wrestling company, for all ages for our community
I can recall a training a session I had many years ago at my wrestling school here in the UK (Drew McIntyre was there that day down from Scotland training with us, as he did often) and I picked up the arm drag with ease, so much so that when I hit it for the first time the whole place went quiet as I did a perfect Steamboat esque arm drag. It became one of my favourite signature moves to pull off. For me it's all about timing and working with someone who can pull of the timing and execute the bump in order for it to work and look good. If you can get the timing, lock and momentum correct it makes for a beautiful looking move.
Glad I found this channel I just got into wrestling started doing this for the first time and man I was getting frustrated I get in my head too much I really don't want to hurt someone
I’m a new subscriber to your channel and I’ve been watching a lot of your videos because I wanna do this mcw pro wrestling and take their classes so I’m trying to be ahead and learn as much as I can . Love all the way in Virginia
My arm drags are.... not good. I think I’ll try Robbie’s variant instead of going for the full Steamboat. That looks neat, if it’s just as easy to take
Hey , my name is javiez and I am a mixed Marshall artist I do jujitsu and I love pro wrestling my dream is to become a prowrestler. I love all your techniques videos this will help me when I start training for pro wrestling
Thank you for this! For years, I think about Ricky Steamboat's arm drag from time to time and could never figure out how he did it even in slow mo. By the way, was your partner in the Edward Norton Hulk movie?
So in order for Steamboat to pull off his arm drag, his core muscles are doing the majority of the work right? That's incredible. His core strength had to have been insane.
My arm drags suck right now so this has been a big supplement for me

Into an arm bar he goes!
You probably will not see this but after the arm drag if you keep holding the arm could you transition it into an arm bar
Yes!
Literally landed on my shoulder to this move and tore my shoulder literally had to retire for a year to recover.
I go to the side when taking the arm drag instead of falling straight
The one move I still have trouble with

Yes an insane amount of body control goes into it, that and a lot of know how.
Look easy I wanna learn how to do it better then how I probably would
Thank you sir I hope I meet you
Always welcome
