Here’s a list of things I don’t personally think are a necessity to pack (but if you find it necessary that is perfectly fine)
•Your own underwear (they provide some, your hospital trip is short, it’s less to pack honestly)
•Your own peri bottle (same as above, no it’s not the curved one, but it works, I keep my curved one at home)
•Water bottle (I’ve never had an issue with them keeping my water cold and readily available)
•Diapers/wipes (the hospital provides pampers lol, use them and then take the packs home girl)
•breast pump/milk bags (you’re not typically there long enough to need to pump milk, babies take colostrum first, but hospitals also have breast pumps and bags if you really wanna do that)
•nursing pillow(I feel like normal pillows work better)
•perfume (I feel like newborns don’t wanna smell perfume lol)
•postpartum care like ice packs, tucks, cooling pads etc (the hospital provides all of that)
•sound machines (the hospital has noise, but honestly you can pull up sounds on your phone, tablet, or the tv in the room, it’s less to pack)
•don’t pack anything you wouldn’t wear at home , like if you don’t normally wear a robe don’t buy one and pack it, again the trip is typically extremely short if there are no complications, save your money, cuz you probably won’t wear it when you get there either lol)
And as a notice, YOU CAN TAKE EVERYTHING HOME. It’s gunna be on the bill anyway girl, TAKE THE DIAPERS, WIPES, THE POST PARTUM CARE, ASK FOR EXTRA, TAKE IT ALLLLLLLLLLLL. It’s already yours, so I didn’t mention this but maybe take a bag to pack the stuff and bring it to your house 💛💛💛💛

He can not request paternity leave until she is born, he will be on detachment preparing for deployment so no, he won’t be there for the birth, I am not sure if he will be there afterwards before he leaves for deployment or not 🤷🏽♀️

Question to moms: I am a first time mom and I am 23 weeks. I went to my ob apt and they went over the anatomy scan from two weeks ago and they told me my placenta is a little lower then it needs to be. I do not have placenta previa and she told me it’s not anything to worry about as pregnancy progresses the placenta usually moves up. Is this something that I should be worried or concerned about? Also did anyone else have this problem while you was pregnant? I was told I can still have a vaginal birth but she said if it gets lower c section is the only way to get out our baby.
“Baby girl is butt naked, playing with play doh.” Literally my 3 year old. The second her feet hit our carpet, butt naked and running wild.

You said you had to have a c section because of the cholestasis? I have that too with my last 2 pregnancies but I didn’t have to have a c section. Can I ask why you had to have one? I’m pregnant with my 3rd haven’t got the symptoms yet
Because it was at the stage where it was poisonous to the baby. My friend lost her child to cholestasis. At a certain level it’s detrimental to mommy’s liver and the baby’s liver. I was not in labor, therefore I had to have a c-section.

When I had my third it was the same thing I had false labor for like 3 weeks. I’m like I truly cannot tell if these are real or not and you would think you’d know after 2 others lol. My water ended up breaking at home and she came one hour later 😅
I honestly would love to experience my water breaking! I haven’t with any of the others 😭😭😭 but these false labors I’m so done with them like girl leave me alone unless you’re really ready haha
Yes! The false labor was killing me! My water didn’t break for my other two either. It was crazy! She come out fast af no time for the epidural 😅

@@LaToyaChastine lol that’s what my nephew did to my sister her contracting on contracting slowing the labor down then induced it n he played peak a booh when he came out going in n out until the doctor pulled the needle out n he shot right own on funny bc he’s 13 n still afraid of needles lol we have to hold his 5’10 210lb self down so they can draw his blood lol
We don't allow anything but hospital gowns in our OR when having a C-section at the hospital I work. A special gown would be pointless unless you wanted it for afterwards of course! 🖤
The itching is from the medications used during the c-section. Omg I remember that feeling and it is awful! I literally wanted to scratch my damn skin off.

I’ve talked about it a ton already on previous videos and in this one haha but they were emergency csections, meaning I had no choice due to cholestasis and hellp syndrome.

Hey Mama! Love your videos and youre looking great!! Congrats on your newest addition. I just wanted to say differin Gel is a retinol and should be highly avoided during pregnanfy and i believe breast feeding.
Neither of the several drs I’ve had have told me to stop using it and I was given quite the list of what I cannot use haha. The baby is super healthy, but thank you 💛
Totally get it! I never want to seem rude/over step. It was on the list I was given but every doctor/pregnancy/mother is different and opinions on good vs bad are always changing. Wishing you a safe delivery and recovery❤️❤️❤️
