Well extension it the worse option how to get oxygen into your building(s)... the better (faster, cheaper, easier) is the CO2 scrubber (built inside just as tables)... the ONLY reason why to even build the well extension is to fill Rover internal O2 tank (eventually jetpack, but that's WAY down the timeline)...
CO2 machine would not make oxygen though, it would suck in the current atmo and spit out everything except CO2., where i assume the well extension uses the solar panels to boil the water and release both gasses into the atmo
@@tristint.4857 whatever the logic, you can SEE on the display of the CO2 Scrubber how much O2 it is producing (in litres per minute, like say 11 (if a bit tuned)... and you can watch your building filling with breatable atmosphere. It takes few days however. To reach same amount of oxygen production, you would need some 4-6 Sabator reactors, and they would take away some of the water production (which is not yet an issue, but will be later as every water "spot" has a maximum water production (say 100l/min) and it limits amount of plants you can grow... Scrubber has no "fitting" for hose, thus cannot connect to Rover filling port, it CAN however fill your O2 bottles (plus also your CO2 bottles). Unless they changed something wery recently in the game.
