The video features the updated list of all Incarnate ships available in Homeworld 3, including the Incarnate Mothership Titan. 4k 60fps Demo release collection: • HOMEWORLD 3 Incarnate ...
I really wish we got to know more about the titan ship and a certain other mothership. still. thanks for showing this off on the internet for everyone. bit of a hassle to boot up the game every time I wanna take a closer look
My aesthetic sense is tingling! They've figured the frigates look so similar to one another, their weapon sections had to have separate coloring. Now the white missile launchers and orange multi-beam bow, nastily break the base faction colors. And why are the engine glows so inconsistent...?
The game kinda explains it by saying most of those ships are Progenitor in origin. The Titan is the only "true" Incarnate design. Given part of the Vaygr territory was absorbed by the Anomaly, they might've stolen some of their designs too.
@@kraosdadafusfus8034 Glad that I am not the only one who noticed that the Anomaly is located in the Vaygr reaches. These ships did gave me the impression that they are a combination of Vaygr design and Progenitor tech.
So funny that the game doesn’t even try to flesh out the incarnate, like where are they from? Where do they live? Are they human or something else? Nah they’re just self replicating androids who live on spaceships and big space stations their whole lives apparently For a story oriented IP like homeworld it’s just shocking how much they dropped the ball
It's unfortunate, that they all look the same. HW2 had different Fighters, different Corvettes, different Frigates, Destroyers and Battleruisers. All very distinctive, but all using the visual language of the faction. Here they all look like small Sajuuk and that's about it.
Exactly. It's like they were lacking ideas for designs, even though HW2 and HWM both had more designs for unique progen ships. There was even concept art. But instead, they're mini-Sajuuks. What a shame. Titan ship and the fighter were the only cool looking and original ones of the lot.
Lore and story aside I feel like the Incarnate are the worst enemy faction in the series design wise. Individually, the ships do look pretty cool but not only do they blend together very easily (specially the frigates/capital ships and corvettes), the general aesthetics of the faction as a whole is pretty clearly a mash up of the Vaygr, Progenitors and Gaalsien designs, which results in a final product that feels less unique than its parts. It's a shame tbh
What do you mean, when you say Halo Gun concept ship? These don’t look like UNSC ships, and they definitely don’t look like covenant ships. They look like progenitor ships from HW 2.

Capture corvette is a mover from HW2.
Yeah it's head but different body

Woah! Great ship design!
Thx for the video!
Ironic that they take after sajuuk and progens but all lack a central canon.

there's a severe lack of "quality-in-concept" with HW3. Personally, I think the story of HW2 is a bit weak, too, but it's laughable here.

Where's the hiigaran ships? Wanna see those too.
It is kinda hard to tell the capital ships apart from each other.
Yeah, they all look pretty much the same, lazy job

True dat
I like that titan ship but its sad that it is so flat. Does not feel like they put in alot of effort in the ship designs
Models look like reused vygr ships but smartened up
Vaygr.
Really lazy ship design by the developer. Someone really got stuck on the halo gun design scheme. Way to fail hard...
These designs are actually based on Sajuuk's model from the second game.
@@OnlyDeathIsEternal halo gun concept ship is identical to these. Nobody can change my mind.
Homeworld was released before Halo.
@willmikecurt this one wasn't, what are you talking about.
