Being honest, E. Honda is arguably the best for beginners. His moves are simple. He has a good amount of strength. And even if he gets cornered, he can headbutt his way out. With just a little practice, even a beginner can hope to finish the game with E. Honda before long.
My best friend and i played Street Fighter 2 on the Super Nintendo last weekend. I choosed Blanka while he choosed Chun Li. We had a ton of fun revive the good old days. And we realize one important thing: we didn´t change our tactics not even a little bit, both of us still know the movement of the other. Ahhhh the Super Nintendo and Street Fighter 2, memories never die.
E. Honda was really strong once u learned him...i remember guys that used to use him in tournaments. His headbutt gave him like 1 second invulnerability or something like that if you timed it right didn't it? I think the only thing that countered it was a ryu/ken dragon punch.

And there's not a lot to remember and keep track of with him, If someone showed the beginner a few things, he could probably get far with E. Honda quickly. Of all the ORIGINAL characters, E. Honda is the one who can eliminate his opponents the most quickly, even faster than Zangief. (Of course his one weakness is that he takes more damage than Zangief.)

And when Sagat throws a fygrar, (be it high or low), jump fierce kick him. And often Honda can get a crouching fierce punch in as well after the jump kick. On the other hand, Zangief is not beginner friendly, and he takes time to learn. But boy is Zangief fun once you know what you're doing! :)
Good work! Honda is my main, so I love seeing someone else who is good with him! Also, I really don't blame you for handling Zangief and Balrog the way you did. In fact, I think it's alright to find weaknesses in rhe CPU and take advantage.

I haven't played SF2 in over 30 years but the movie Boss Level made me look it up. E Honda was my favorite but what I just saw was an absolute mess. No technique or combinations. When you come in with the aerial body attack you go straight in to a light low kick followed by an heavy overhand attack. High low high attack even beats the system and most humans. When you stun an opponent you can move in close using the mid kick to do a double knee attack combined with a throw that can't be blocked. Killer every time.
Nice run, and you did it even without the combos from the Tomo tape. First thing I did when watching the video was skip to the end and listen for the "Yatta!" so I know you did it without even losing a round at max difficulty. Loved that part at 4:06 too..
that one hundred hand slap was vicious im not sure why capcom thought it would be cute to make him move while he did the move lol like sagat lets give him a jumping knee. wont that piss off the players...oh im counting on it lol.
I used to choose him all the time because every single one of his hits lowers his opponents life the most,,, if played well, this caracter is untouchable!
E.Honda used to be my favorite character. I remember back when the things I loved in 2007 and 2008 were AVGN, Sailor Moon, Inuyasha, Angry German Kid, Cool World, Pokémon, Killer Instinct, Mortal Kombat, and Street Fighter.

Honda did enough chip damage off the handslap to zero Dhalsim's health. Once that happened the battle was over, and no more damage can be taken. Same thing happens, especially against Bison when he runs out of time with his Psycho Crusher. Doesn't matter if he Psycho Crushes you into oblivion, after the clock is off, it won't damage you.
I know this maybe off topic but I can easily see a wrestler named DDP having this type of ending if he was in street fighter lol.....just saying. Look up DDP Yoga if you want to know what I mean. Great guy.

The New Challengers is VERY TOUGH. I haven't uploaded videos of it because I can't beat it without losing a round. I especially hate T. Hawk and Dee Jay, they read your moves/jumps.

Kind of comical how against Dhalsim, it gave you credit for a Perfect even after his fireball clearly hit you. You KO'ed him at just the right time.

On level 7, CPU always breaks grabs in 1 frame, so multiple-hit grabs are pointless.

it amazes me how cheap E. Honda is, but also how retarded Zangief's AI is. You can literally beat Zangief by simply jumping up and down in place.
Which is exactly what I've seen several TH-camr video posters do when they get to Zangief.
