City Bike! - How to Convert Road Bike To Flat Bars

In this video, I convert a drop bar road bike with mechanical Shimano Tiagra to a flat bar road bike for urban / city use. Including changing the brake levers to Shimano Tiagra flat bike brake levers, compatible with road rim brakes.

been planning to convert my vintage raod bike (bridgestone radac) to flat bars for the longest time. I now have a caad 8 for training/long rides. I want a commuter with the speed of a roadbike but something more relaxed for my non cyclist friends to borrow from time to time and for errands. thanks to this vid i now know the process and components to get for my road bike

It did make it a bit more twitchy, it's pretty quick geometery to begin with though

You bought the wrong handlebar if you have to cut that much off.
