  • For 35 years, scientists and astronomers have been intrigued by a mysterious signal arriving from space every 22 minutes. This relentless pattern has sparked a multitude of questions and theories about its origin and meaning. Is it a natural cosmic phenomenon, or could it be an attempt at communication from an extraterrestrial intelligence?

I would try doing so and then dramatically speeding up the tape to see if it's a recorded message that just happens to be coming to us, here, at an EXTREMELY slow rate of speed, to our way of thinking but, to someone out there, it could just be normal speed.

    I'll save you a lifetime: The closest potentially habitable planet found outside our solar system so far is orbiting a star 14 light-years away. If there were a species there capable of sending any signal, it would take 28 years at minimum just to communicate a "hello". But most likely, any comparative species looking to make contact is much further away - so far that no human could be present to witness any 2-way communication.

    In astrophysics, it's important to never just impulsively grab for the tinfoil hat because "strange" is actually the norm out there in the deep dark. The only truly strange aspect isn't that it is precise, and certainly isn't that it is frequent, it's that it's SO slow to repeat its cycles. Pulsars do this hundreds of times a second with fantastic precision. When you think about it, that's a far stranger concept to try to get your head around from a layperson's point of view.

    • @ericsummerset3368
      @ericsummerset3368 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Exactly!! They need to simplify and look at what we know and eliminate the insane. What we know is the interval and strength. We seem to not know the direction so we can work our way backwards. We know that there is no way a random signal can follow a moving planet for 35 years every 22 minutes. That tells us potentially 2 things. 1) The signal is omni directional and hitting us and everyone else. 2) It is being aimed at us intentionally by someone intelligent. In my unprofessional opinion, it can only be one or the other. If it is #1, we need to have multiple sensors available to triangulate the location. The theory has to work the same with radio waves. I don't need credit for the assist, but recognition would be nice.

    • @dieAnthropologischeKonstante
      @dieAnthropologischeKonstante 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@ericsummerset3368 I see a third explanation. It is not omnidirectional but the propagation of the light/electromagnetic waves cover’s an area that is that big. to know when we entered the “beam” might be also an information good to have.
      But as I remembered, the source is determined so …

    It is the refresh rate of the computer system that is generating this virtual environment. Kind of like the refresh rate of a video card but this is an entire environment refresh rate. And the direction of "GPMJ1839-10" heads towards the COU of the system, as we refer to it.
    Mathematically more likely than not we are in a virtual environment , or we are heading for self annihilation.
    Because if we survive as a species then we will have computer systems that will be able to simulate a great deal of the universe in the not too distant future.
    That is not even a creative thought on computer advancement, not really.
    When you look what we started with and when we started it too where we are now with the tech that is public knowledge. Look at what Alan Turing came up with in the 50s and where we are 70 years later. So imagine, if we survive what computer systems will look like 200 years after their inception.
    We are picking up noise from the simulation and the system creating the simulation.

    Maybe the pulsar is intentionally being held there to keep the earth and everything that is responsible for holding gravity and rotation in homeostasis maybe this is another life form keeping us alive

    Thanks god this is the only video talking seriously about it, every other was fantasy lunacy.
    Now assuming no one is tampering with it, if it was artificial it would be more mathematical.

    This is what the radio signal from GPM J1839-10 sounds like, it's very weird and somewhat chaotic but scale symmetric:

    It would be ok with me if you shorten the name of GPMJ11839-10 or give GPMJ11839-10 a nickname so you don't have to repeat the GPMJ11839-10's name over and over and keep repeating GPMJ11839-10. I tried to count GPMJ11839-10 but I lost count of GPMJ11839-10.

    You have a small segment that shows the mission operations center at STScI, where we run JWST. But you claim it’s related to a radio telescope control center. That immediately tells me that I cannot trust anything you say in this video! Good grief!
