Tell them to look up the history of the abortion issue. Initially in the 1970's, when all the religious leaders were approached about taking up the abortion issue, they said: "We don't care about that." Then, the mega churches popped up, the people running them saw it as a money issue and then took up the fight in the 1980's. It's been all about sucking loyalty out of people. It was never about abortion. Even Catholic leaders did not want to take it on.

The publicity of Biden is never that great on any platform, yet great things are happening. The unemployment levels are amazing. The stimulous package focusing on providing American sources for materials like Chips and US Steel is bringing, not only jobs, but less reliance on other countries. The money going into Electric Vehicles is controvercial but still happening at a rapid pace and ultimately will make American electric vehicles competitive in a world market (China heavily subsidizes their electric vehicle corporations to keep prices very low) and workers in the auto unions are making more than they ever had - with more jobs on the horizon. The stock market is booming. This is all NOT part of our everyday news. Come on Democrats - get the marketing of what is happening thats good out there! Positivity is a great sales tool. Especially when the Republicans are running on a Revenge and Constrict platform.

Re access to out-of-state abortion clinics:

My girlfriend is unfortunately from a family of Trump voters. Luckily, even before we started dating she was anti-Trump because all of his nonsense but her family continues to vote for him and thus despite all my best efforts to try and convince her of the Democrats platform and her likely supporting them on the issues, her general distrust of govt means she will never vote for Democrats or Biden. And I guess I have to respect that. The good thing is she will never vote for Trump so I'll take that as a win.
