Thank you Roger. As an English woman with a Palestinian daughter in law I am so grateful for your comments. My daughter in law was living here in the UK but moved to Denmark to be closer to her Mum who had to leave everything they had and move the family there for their safety. She visit her grandparents in Palestine each year but always returns deeply saddened by the atrocities she has witnessed during her stay. She has worked and lived very happily in Denmark for some time but claims that over recent years there has been a turn around toward Palestinian people in Denmark, she no longer feels safe and feels the need to hide her identity. She and her family are the most kind and loving family one could wish to meet and they live in constant fear for relatives who remain in Palestine.
Not blaming the young lady, but as a foreigner myself (argentinian living in Germany) I have to generalize and we all have to accept that most of the people coming from certain countries, are causing lots of trouble and aren't (and don't want to) get integrated or respect western values, but rather impose theirs. So I can understand the Europeans getting tired and done with those ethnicities being a migrant my own self.

There is a very powerful Israeli lobby group in Germany. Many ordinary Germans would agree with everything you’ve said including my west German liberal Green Party voting girlfriend. I saw Roger on tour in 2006, in Las Vegas, and he presented the most wonderful song about being served the best food, and given the best accommodations that a poor Arabic family had to offer. Very touching work. As a man married to a Middle Eastern woman it really hit home for me.

My daughter in law was living here in the UK but moved to Denmark to be closer to her Mum who had to leave everything they had and move the family there for their safety. She visit her grandparents in Palestine each year but always returns deeply saddened by the atrocities she has witnessed during her stay.
She has worked and lived very happily in Denmark for some time but claims that over recent years there has been a turn around toward Palestinian people in Denmark, she no longer feels safe and feels the need to hide her identity.
She and her family are the most kind and loving family one could wish to meet and they live in constant fear for relatives who remain in Palestine.

Not blaming the young lady, but as a foreigner myself (argentinian living in Germany) I have to generalize and we all have to accept that most of the people coming from certain countries, are causing lots of trouble and aren't (and don't want to) get integrated or respect western values, but rather impose theirs. I saw Roger on tour in 2006, in Las Vegas, and he presented the most wonderful song about being served the best food, and given the best accommodations that a poor Arabic family had to offer. Very touching work. As a man married to a Middle Eastern woman it really hit home for me.
