I actually bought my coil overs off of Ahmet for my 32GTR. Unfortunately sold and need another GTR ASAP! Great channel mate, just flicked into it then for the first time. Keep it up
A different kettle of fish, but I recently went from a 5 speed to a short ratio STI 6 speed in my WRX. The car feels so much quicker (even though its not!), comes on boost so much faster...and getting into third has been tricky! Not as expensive as you mentioned, but still a $AU5,000+ exercise for a second hand box & fitting! Best thing I've done with the car though. Awesome review by the way!
Hey Cardo. I can see why these videos take a fair amount of time to produce. The results are excellent. In the intro for example, I really dig how you sync the video to the beat (and it sounds great even through my el cheapo headphones). One question though, how did you get that big ass bird to fly in around 0:31 ?🤔😉 Now for the main attraction, Ahmet's GT-R is such a badass 💪and so clean, too. Instant fave for me and I hit him up on IG. The R34 6 speed combined with that power level is intense! I loved the full pull at 5:35 . Damn!😲 I remember a while back when you started, your face was blurred out and I'm glad you changed that. You're a great presenter and a natural in front of the camera. You nor the car did not disappoint with all those pulls. This channel is growing at a quick pace, but honestly, with this quality of content, it's bound to really blow up soon. Much respect from NC. Keep up the great work, brother!👏

sometimes I kind of enjoy the inconvenience of the 5 speed, I like having to drop a gear to get the car to pick up and go. I bought my GTR as a weekend ripper so I would want the drive to be more challenging and have less of a comfy street feel. This car looks insane to drive when the turbo is on, I wish I were at that stage of power, I barely have half of 700!!! good video as always, keep it up bro !
Tanner Stolt One of the things I remember about my R32 was 1st gear and how long it was. You could actually ring it out in 1st as opposed to my evos and imprezas where you feel like you don’t even want to try it. Arrrgh I miss that car! No chance of affording one nowadays in the UK thanks to the US 25 year rule blowing the prices up.
@@mr.airgun6921 Yeah man, first gear is such a fun gear, I always love how 2nd and 3rd pull really inconspicuously, its so smooth you dont realize how fast your going until you get to the top of 3rd like "holy fuck I am REALLY speeding right now". I agree that the USA kind of fucked up the pricing on these for everyone else, I feel fortunate to have one in the USA.
Dashmats are "old man" but they are great at stopping reflections in the windscreen and reducing noise...a tinted windscreen strip at the top is also a must have for me....
Well thats my whole argument on it. You can buy a much stronger and more capable gearset for a slightly higher price and its brand new. or you can buy a second hand getrag. ... and i just realised i never put a "verdict"clip in... lol
If you have an r32 without the 6 speed they suck because the 6 speed have different close gears it changers the car.the 5 speed especially with a big turbo the lag in between way too long it looses the enjoyment.people overlook this.if you do 1 mod to the r 32 do that even if the car is stock its sooo much more fun

Even stock on the 5sp gearbox you get grinding on 2/3rd gear due to bad syncros. That was always my favorite hehe. Definitely the drive train that makes u gives you the impression that it's faster. Like comparing faster supras to r32/r33/34 gtr the slower gtr always felt faster than supra due to the more aggressive launches from 0.
If I'm not mistaken it retains the 4.11 r32 gtr diff gears. That's what makes it so good. The 3.5 diff gears in the R34 gtr are too long for normal city driving even with the 6 speed.
Benji Standing no it’s a broadway mirror but I do have a reverse camera and front and rear dash camera installed on the car. You probably can’t see it in the video
I'd love to know what speeds you were hitting during those pulls, especially that first one. That lasted for daaaaaaayyyyyssss. Also you totally took the same roundabout like 7 times xD
Just a forged 2.6, i didn't get the specifics on this one unfortunately which is an issue I'm fixing with reviews going forward haha. But it's a stock crank 2.6 with forged rods and pistons. Man I need to come out your way you always have some badass GTRs around you 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

@@dustinthomas2791 Don't worry. Ferrari uses OOOO engines as well. Sorry to burst a bubble. There is a reason the US stopped equipping their cars with low displacement v8 engines. They would sound exactly like European cars that command much more $.

Or, maybe you will stay in the factory fan boy lala scenario that says only a Japanese engine can be in a Japanese car. Or, maybe you will concede to some badge engineering, but doesn't apply to the car you like? LMFAO. Look at the new (wish) Supra. Look at Smokey Nagata's "Top Secret" Supra. Guess what? It's a BMW v12 connected to what is most likely a Getrag or Zf gearbox.

The car feels so much quicker (even though its not!), comes on boost so much faster...and getting into third has been tricky! The five speed transmission is a getrag also not weak at all . Getrag transmission are expensive even a ZF manual are expensive
