Hello @Fjorde,I accidentally became your viewer when I was research about a old US Army coat that my dad bought.It seems to be a M̀51 Jacket by Golden mfg co.There's a name tag "Funakoshi" sewed onto the right side and the "U.S Army" on the left side and both are not embroidered yet printed.So here is my question.Is it appropriate to take the name badge of ̣̣(as well as the US badge)? And how to wear this piece appropriately.I'm currently a young guy and really to know more about the jacket so that I can wear it the right way. And could it be from the real man "Fukanoshi"???idk.Hope you could help me out of this,thanks.

It’s too hot here in Thailand for leather jackets but yesterday I just bought a vintage mail bag from Y2 Leather in horsehide leather (GB-10-S) online from Japan. By looking at the pictures provided by the seller alone helped me easily see the quality of the product and make my decision. I was so lucky to be able to find this one because it was out of stock in all online shops apart from this reseller otherwise I might have to wait until April 2023 for it to be restocked.
I bought one of these from TJ last week, I really love it. Great guy to deal with.

I wouldn't say that I'm an expert in vintage military. I would recommend that you speak with an expert. You could try contacting stanford_vintage on Instagram. You sound like a great person with really great style. There is no right or wrong way to wear the jacket. 👊 👊
