    Was it apparent when the worm came out of the fish? How do you know it is totally out of them?

      Hello my friend!!!
      In this case, I didn't actually see the nematode coming out of the fish. I did this treatment to finish "cleaning" the fish, because as it was weak from the disease and all the chemical treatment, it was more of a precaution to avoid secondary recurrences.

      Hi my friend!!! thank you very much…
      the fish is even better. I just didn't put it in the main tank because I want it to recover completely.
      It's true, without ever having worried about the number of subscribers, it's going well… it soon gets 4 digits. 😅

      @@PSKaquamy tank is still cycling atm. I have the prawns rotting in a net and all the plants are in the water I'm just waiting for the tree roots and bog wood to soak as they are in my koi pond atm submerged with rocks on them. I have an eheim cannister filter and and oase 850 thermo. I'm thinking of swapping the eheim over to a fx6 like u have as I really like them and think they are the best cannister on the market. What do u think?

      how are the water parameters?
      The FX6 for me, in terms of strength, is the best. Of course there are some that take more filter material, but they are not as powerful. The FX6 is what I have and I would just trade it for a sump.

      Hello my friend!!!
      That medicine is for nematodes. Are you sure the fish are suffering from it?
      I bought it here. I don't know if you can get it in the UK.

      Hello Osman!!!
      Coincidence that you asked that…
      Today there will be a shorts video with precisely a small update of its status.
      He's fine… he's eating and getting fat, he's recovered from his tail and has almost recovered from his dorsal fin. A few more days and go back to the main aquarium with friends.
      Thanks for the comment and the concern. 😊👍🏻

      Wow that’s Great News. I can imagine happiness when a fish is treated successfully and back to normal.
      I wanted to ask did you ever mixes discus from different sources/breeders? I’ve googled about it but found mixed opinions, what’s your take on this?

    • @PSKaqua
      @PSKaqua  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ideally I don't recommend it, but I'm aware that it's not always possible not to.
      Asian, European, American and wild fish all have different pathogens, and when fish are confronted with pathogens they are not used to they cannot deal with them and get sick. if they are from the same source, this mix of pathogens is not as significant.
      This issue is very controversial, however, there is always the recommended quarantine to be able to observe the behavior of the disc and be able to deworm it before adding it.
      It's a good question for a video… 🤔

      @@PSKaqua Thanks , very well explained. I think yes a video on this Q&A would be great🙂. I my self have discus from different country breeders in quarantine separately since last 2 months.

    On which day did you do the 50% water change?

    • @PSKaqua
      @PSKaqua  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello my friend!
      In this treatment I do not do a 50% water change. You pour the product and let it act for two days. After the 2 days, you should do a water change of about 80%. After 3 weeks you should do another treatment to catch the larvae that have hatched in the meantime.
