What useless parents expect their kids to support them during any stage of life? I’m not saying it’s wrong to support your parents, the part that’s wrong is their self entitlement and exploitation. In my culture, we don’t expect an inheritance. We expect our parents to use their money for themselves.
All they had to do was just call the police... she broke into their house... just because she's his mother, that doesn't mean she can just break into their home and refuse to leave.. it's called breaking and entering and trespassing.. it doesn't suddenly become less of a crime just because the culprit is MIL..this is a grown woman running around damanding other's "support her".. why she couldn't get off her old lazy ass and get a job to support herself is beyond me

Mother in laws can be extremely entitled if there's no one to hinder or say no to them, like a spoiled child. There were even some MILs who nearly killed their children due to unknowingly or intentionally setting off allergies to prove a point.
Story 1 Breaking and entering is a huge crime. Call police file charges. Tell them you don't know her. And throw her out. You don't have any obligation to help the mil. Also get a restraining order.
