Grew up there and left in 1979. Yet I have never been able to close my feelings for this city, it's people of that time and my educators which were wonderful. Love you Springfield forever in my heart.
Yeah it don’t matter how it “looks” Springfield had the tornado cleared out a ton of slums and the city got a sh!t load of federal funding cleaned a lot up and yet it still is grimey looking and the crime here just as bad those places fr nvm the how it looks that don’t mean much damn near EVERYTHING is Springfield is section 8 literally
Bought my car from there. 1am had to gas up and take a piss… the gas station only let 1 person in at a time. It was at that point, I knew where I was. And no it wasn’t Covid this was 2023 lol.
My son used to live there not too bad it's not the place it's how you be with people if you give respect people will give you respect 💯 I love my town 💯 no complain at all❤
Seriously ? They al look like apartment buildings that you see in Boston .. not many single family homes or even multi family homes just apartment buildings
BS Sarno is one of the best Mayors the city has had and I know the city many years. the other two are not going to make this city better only worse. They will try to stop police from doing the job on crime for one. So spare me.
If you need a new mayor then it's time to pinpoint a candidate that really is looking to serve the city and not his or her personal agenda. Corruption is everywhere, but as a constituent it is up to each and everyone who votes to make changes and not just to point, but to do.
