It’s confusing why people choose to clutter and junk up their living space. Must be intense hopelessness.
Did you notice that on Kensington every intersection had a red light programed? It's almost like they want you to be a target!!!!😧
Great video it gives the inside story of the USA
Joe and Nicole People will be watching these videos for generations and how you maped out the united States is incredible love and respect
Thanks for this, Bobby!
I lived in Philly 15 years and never heard of Fair Hill but I lived in Manayunk. We fled Philly after the week of riots while police stood down. Manayunk is a cute neighborhood and safest in Philly.
Fled?
One of my best friends grew up there in the 60’s, I shared this video with him and he couldn’t believe it.😞
Thank you for the video. So very sad.... Always put your safety first❤❤❤
Joe, thanks for what you do, knowing how much crazy people are out there.
Not a good idea walking around there my friend. devils triangle , Camden, kensington and Fairhill. What where you thinking?
Joe, you are one brave guy. Glad Nicole didn’t join you on that walk by the church. Stay safe!
BE SAFE JOE AND NIC ❤
WOW~forgotten Philadelphia~thanks Joe that was insightful and also sad and scary. I lived in Philly in 1969 and it was bad but not that bad. I noticed the lack of garbage recepticles, its all in the streets. How sad for the children. The city of brotherly love has lost love for its own people. What a shame.
I live in Philadelphia right now and I love it. There’s still many nice and lively areas
Dude, be carefull. That Gary In.vid was scary
The elevated rails in Kensington looks like a scene out of "The French Connection".
I pray God's blessings on you Joe as you travel this country and the towns. You never know what you'll encounter. God bless.
Please don’t get out of your car in a high crime neighborhood. I had a bad feeling when you got out.
I have to say this , it doesn't take much effort to pick up trash. So many cities complain about homeless ghettos and trash but refuse to even put a dumpster there for them to put the trash in. All I can say Joe is people can do better than this. I always pick up any trash I see after the trash truck has run on my street. Sometimes trash blows out etc. I am ashamed to call some areas America. Thankyou what an eye opener. I am glad you were not injured with the camera incident. I am 6 feet 1 and 255 and probaly would have left him in a bad state. I will buy someone a meal if they are hungry , but never steal from me. Horrible to believe this is even in the United States.
I had a bad feeling when I watched this video.. I have watched other youtubers and what I saw was awful.. Never ever walk around area's like that alone.. Didn't you say you carry? These people could care less who you are or what they do to you.. Please stay safe..
Beautiful place. Lovely colors. Real nice folks.
I know you're being sarcastic but it really doesn't look that bad.
Sure hope you carry in those situations. Stay safe!
In these neighborhoods, just stay in your jeep
It not that bad.
Hello, WOW the city of Philly has a lot to answer for. Do they even have garbage service in those places, you have to wonder. The city could put the big dumpsters in places then maybe people would put their garbage in them. Am I only hoping they would. I'm glad you were save in the end. Take Care
Really enjoyed this video. Thank you.
It is so sad to see what is happening in some areas of America. I pray every day that what you have shown us in this video does not represent our future.
I just googled the first Rocky movie it said his apartment was in Kensington
That's right!
@jJ-pq4tk- yes that is true. I have seen it on video. The lane that is opposite the house, is just now another hangout for druggies.
The first capital of the US. It's disgusting what happened to it.
great video, please be careful, real dangerours.
I'm from the Philadelphia area. The city cleaned up and kicked out ppl from Kensington Ave. It started early in the summer
This mood in here is everything!
Great Video, Thank you. We Learn A Lot From This.
Stay safe Joe! I worry about you when you do these videos in sketchy neighborhoods. I'm glad you weren't hurt.
Last one for awhile. :)
Such a sad sight to see. Glad you weren’t hurt.
At 6:31 of video, the White House on the left. It was my Aunt’s house and I used to visit in the 70’s. On the right back then were rows of garages.
Also at 11:38 what’s up with the Ax hanging on grate ?
I spent the first 20 years of my life in South Philly and left in the mid 90’s. I have been back a few times since then to visit, and it was shocking to see how some of the previously “safe” neighborhoods where I had no issues walking at night had radically changed for the worse. I wouldn’t drive through most of the city with a tank. So glad I escaped this armpit of a city, which used to be a decent place to live. North Philly, Kensington and most of West Philly were sketchy even back then, but nowhere near the dystopian nightmares they have become.
You weren’t even safe in your jeep that neighborhood and Kensington is a total disaster that the city government uses to their benefit to look good only when they need to.
The high crime, sex trafficking and drug trafficking and use make it the worst Aras that you will encounter in your lifetime.
I’m glad you got through it all and lived to talk about it.
There’s still a show going on from the new Mayor that is dissipating.
Please never go back and if you do please take an armed legal person to escort you and make sure you go home safe, not even police officers want to be in those areas.
Thank for the video, I’m so glad you got out alive and with all of your stuff and jeep.🙏🏻
19:40 mighty micks boxing gym from Rocky on the left here and the bar from Rocky 5 across the street bottom left corner.
Group of people congregated outside the bar. So sad to think that gym is empty derelict like this. Why won’t the city council or someone make this a museum or something that’s mighty micks !!!!
