Another great video. I was so glad to see Richard fishing with you. I filmed Richard for my tv show a long time ago. I asked him to bring a child aboard as that was a focus of the show..."Get kids hooked on Fishing...NOT on drugs!". Richard brought a 10 year boy with him. That boy was his son, Nick. He could catch fish better than most adults. I filmed Nick again when he was 20 and had got his Capt License. I knew he was going to be one of the BEST Captains in the Keys and as you know he is. Like you just said fishing makes great memories and like I say those memories will last a lifetime.

We had so much fun that the following year we did it again and I had the opportunity to fish with Capt Ted again who put me on my first islamorada bonefish! Your videos gave us the chance and ideas to go down and visit this unbelievable area and meet the Stanzick family first hand. Being an avid fisherman from Cape Cod it was great to spend time at a place and area that's so passionate about spending time on the water. Your videos have shown us what a special place the flag keys are to you and your family, and that has now become a special place for mine as well! Keep up the good work and if you guys ever make your way up to Cape Cod in the summer months, you, Sarah, and the girls will always have a spot available on our boat with our family!

I lived in Key West 1976 to 1984 as a Marine mechanic and the fish that I loved to catch was called Lady Fish or Skipjacks as they were very hard to catch plus very exciting wild action under & above the water! There lips are very thin that when you hook them, you have to wear them out following them with a light drag or the hook will rip out of the lip. They also zig zag all over the place very fast that I always kept the rod high so as little line was in the water as possible reducing tension on the hook. We always found more Lady Fish on Jewfish creek but I caught them all along the Keys. These are catch and release like Tarpon as they a bone fish with too many bones to try and get some meat out of them. There are so many great eating fish to both but to catch the difficult ones???
Hey Robert! Love the videos! I did some work for a guy that runs a hunting and fishing lodge in West Andros. Unbelievable man of many talents to say the least. Runs a very tight ship when it comes to conservation as well. If you like, I can make the connection for you guys for a trip. Here in Melbourne FL. Camping on our spoil islands, ive caught snook, catfish, and mullet and cooked every one over an open fire. The snook took first, no surprise, but the mullet was way better than i imagined an d won silver. The catfish was terrible. Mullet was about 11" and i got a pretty decent fillet off that.
Awesome video as always Robert. You are such an inspiration. I've learned new ways to cook my catch because of you. I also feel like every time you post a video I'm right there with you. That would be great to see you do a catch, clean, and cook on a mullet. That could be interesting. I'd love to see you do one on a Tautog from the Northeast. Looking forward to the next video. God bless you and your family and tight lines.
Mullet is a amazing fish to eat. It can be fried, baked, smoked, and pan seared. My favor thing growning up was waking up early with my grandpa and making fish and grits for breakfast before we would go out fishing. There is nothing better then fried mullet and cheesy yellow grits. One thing to remember is fish will taste like the water they come out of. So if you are catching mullet in backwaters that are muddy then they will taste like it. But if you catch them on sandy bottoms that have clean water then the fish will be clean tasting and you can never go wrong with a mullet that came out of clean water.
Hi, when you want to cook pasta, remember: 1. make the water boil first; 2. put the salt (just a spoon or two, depending on how much pasta you want to cook); 3. put the pasta in the boiling water. On the box is written the cooking time, depending on the type of pasta. You have a fantastic channel! Stay healthy!
My wife and I stopped and said hello to Nick's dad and friend last Thursday night after they had just closed! Really cool guys that took a minute to say hi to the old folks from ohio!! even took a picture of the huge shark out front!
I’m an aboriginal Hawaiian and we eat Australian mullet and our native mullet. It’s delicious. We fry them up whole in a wok. We hawaiians eat what other people call “bait fish”. Don’t get me wrong... We’ll eat ‘Ono (wahoo) and ‘Ahi (yellow fin tuna) one day, and eat ‘Aku (Bonita) and Tombo (Albacore tuna) the next. Appreciation for all the delicious fish out in our beautiful Pacific Ocean. Great video!

Hallo..I'm from INDONESIA🇮🇩🙌🙌.
I'm subscriber of this channel, I very happy for watching every yours video😊😊
Love watching you making memories..
i’m a big fan of him
Mullet is a amazing fish to eat.
Love Bud N Marys! Good scuba diving all around and out of their dive shop. A fixture for sure! Shout out from Jupiter Farms DFMD!
I ate mullet growing up ll the time. I still like some good fried mullet row every now and again.

I have been waiting on a Tarpon video for ages, when I was much younger I would fish in every pond for Tarpon.
I love mullet, fried, smoked, dip. Darn good.
I love it when youtubers colab together . Keep up the great work .
Always inspired by DMFD videos, blessings to you Rob and family.
If I can pick one fish to catch before I kick the bucket, Tarpon will be it. Been waiting forever for you to do a clip on them. Amazing
If deermeetfordinner uploads a vid it doesn’t matter what I’m doing I stop everything and watch!!!! Great video Rob!
SOoooo COOLMAN!!! Man, your life reminds me of mine. When I worked on Freedom Star retrieval ship for shuttle processing contract did a lot of professional diving and when we weren't retrieving we were fishing and it was cool man, NOAA buoys 210 miles off the coast of Florida 25 miles off the coast of Florida pelican flats just a lot of Coolstuff. You have a beautiful family God-fearing man. God bless you. Enjoy all your videos Rock On Brother. 👍
My grandfather used to be at bud n Mary’s all the time. Took me there as a kid. I grew up in little torch key. I wonder if mr Stancyk remembers my grandfather. Anthony Decarlo.
I have started youtube because of you Rob and I hope we can get together soon. I love your personality please keep working
