Murugan has to come and say .. "Baktha, I don't WANT you to do all this with so much pain .. Stop it & worship me in simple ways without pain" .. Then only, these people turn into soft way of worship..
These traditions and rituals are thousands of years old...why would Murugan Swami want them to stop it now? Why would god say they don’t want their devotees to worship them however they like? Which scriptures state that murugan doesn’t want or need piercing to be done at his puja? You have no valid point to argue here especially if you’re not the one being pierced how does this affect you in any way?
