JUST AS GOOD AS GOLD! Thank you so very much for posting and sharing this "lost and VERY rarely seen anymore" TV Series that aired originally for one season on the NBC Network from September 1973 until April 1974, airing a total of 22 episodes + the pilot episode as well...As far as I can tell, this is the only episode currently available on TH-cam! I sure would love to be able to see more of the series, but I did thoroughly enjoy watching this episode, which is a first-time watch for me! The audio and video quality is quite decent too! Let the good TV Shows play on, and take care! Ms. Elizabeth 📺📼📀📺📼📀
THAT SHORT-LIVED TV COP SHOW WAS A BIG HIT, ESPECIALLY WITH THE ENDING OF JACK WEBB'S MARK VII LIMITED AND UNIVERSAL TELEVISION TO CLOSE IT OUT. ANYWAY TO PUT THIS CLASSIC TV COP SHOW, "CHASE" ON DVD IN THE FUTURE BY ANY CHANCE? I REALLY WANT TO SEE THIS BEFORE MY TIME COMES TO THE END. THANK YOO VERY MUCH FOR SHOWING THAT EPISODE ON YOU TUBE.
Love that gold El Camino! I remember this series from '73.....and I was 7 years old! Needs a DVD/Blu Ray! Notice how first chase, no bang ups, just top notch precision driving all around! I enjoyed those '80's shows, but way too much pipe ramp flips instead of more realistic skidding and close calls. Craig Baxley, later more famous for " Dukes of Hazzard", coordinated the stunts on this show.
I was born in 66 too and this and Emergency were my favorite shows then. Was heartbroken when it was canceled. Me and my brother would pretend I was Baker and he was Ham (Hamilton) in the helicopter. Such a great concept for a show...
According to online sources, Chase lasted for 23 episodes (counting the pilot). I missed out on watching this show and I wish they would release it on DVD. I can only find maybe 2 full episodes on youtube and other sources.
I sometimes enjoy seeing the commercials; even though they're clearly from a different decade, they're classics, too. Besides, all you have to do is skip forward in 10-second increments until they're over.
I miss the old USA Network...back when they were a clearinghouse for these short lived series!
A resurrected blast from the past from my younger days, awsome.😂😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉🎉😂😂😂😂
This was one of my FAVORITE shows as a kid. I never missed an episode!
This series should become dvd and cable
Thank You Very Much You Tube for posting this Show. Haven't seen this show in Years.

There's 2 other episodes on TH-cam. If you search "chase 1973" you should find them.
An LA crime show I never heard of! I hope that more episodes of this show eventually turn up on TH-cam or wherever.

Stephen J. Cannell who went on to do Greatest American Hero and The A Team and other shows.
Thanks for the upload - love this classic series!
Cool to see Mitchell ryan as a good guy
This one only lasted about 6 episodes though it's good to see Mitchell Ryan in his own series.

Outstanding!! I loved this show back in the 70's and then it went off the air!! Thank you and hope to see more soon!!!
wow. as a tv fanatic as a kid I never heard of this show. great episode.
I'd buy complete set if they released it. no chance.
Those 8track tape days 1973
Mitch Ryan would go on to play Thomas Gibson's father on Dharma & Greg years later.
And the General in the first "Lethal Weapon" film
I'd love to see more Chase, and Custer. Can't find that either. Wayne, where are you?
Keep up the good work, buddy!
Shout!Factory, Timeless Media Group, somebody, anybody dig this gem out of the vaults for a DVD release...
It was essentially a detective version of The Rookies.
‘65 el Camino… nice
a program where mitchell ryan played a good guy
IINM, he played "McAllister" in the first *LETHAL WEAPON* movie.
Loved Chase! Any chance you have more?

@Matt Benek - Exactly the question I came here to ask! 😉
I think Pete Rugolo should've sued Oliver Nelson for having too many similarities to the theme for Pete's series Run For Your Life.
It seems Western Civilization peaked when they released Hidden Valley Ranch on a bottle.
Another show that didn't make it to AFN overseas.
The commercials ruin it.

By the end of the 1970's, I could not stomach seeing one more car chase in a movie or TV series. They had done them to death!
