I had the privilege to finally hear them live last year. It was a dream of over 12 years for me to meet them, so I waited for them backstage. When Danny and Mark were finally outside and walking towards me, I stood there, frozen in utter disbelief (every word in my vocab by then had left my mind). A dream was coming true for real, and I just went speechless and started crying...Mark instantly hugged me, said, "Hey, no crying! Come on! Let's take a picture" and he swiped on my phone and opened the camera, and that's how I ended up having pictures with them! What a legend. So loved. So incredible. The Script Family loves you forever Mark, and we'll be there with Danny and Glen. ❤

I cannot begin to even explain how much all of you mean to me, and how much Mark must have meant to to you, Danny, Glen, and the rest of your team and family members. I met him once in Portland, Oregon back in 2010, I believe it was. You played the Crystal Ballroom. Such a great guy, and group. My all time favorite. I have a studio in my home and have been playing and or producing music for over 50 years, and I cannot tell you how much your music inspired how I write music today. If I am lacking inspiration, I just go listen to one of your albums. I have them all. I also lost almost 50 pounds running on a treadmill, just grooving to your music, and that is all. Love you guys. I was an extremist. I still remember the first song I (ever) heard was no good in goodbyes. It sparked something inside me. My childhood memories are filled with your songs, no words, give the love around, energy never dies, breakeven, howl at the moon, hurricanes, long gone and moved on, if you could see me now, hall of fame and many more I just can't recall right now. I regret to not say this in the life of Mark. You guys are my superheroes. I've never met you, never talked to you but the impact you guys made in my life is beyond magnificent. I feel like I am the child in the freedom child. You guys made me realize the importance of life, the importance of small things, the importance of 'energy' that never dies, how the good things goes back around. I have thought about him so much over the past 6 weeks. Shed many tears and prayed many prayers. For his family, his band mates. Everyone who loved him. I wish we knew what happened. It’s hard not knowing but I also understand it’s not our place to know unless the family wants. I can respect that ❤ I can’t imagine seeing TS without him. But as y’all said, he’d want y’all to go on! I had plans. I had plans to see TS with my youngest daughter next time they came to Texas. I have seen them with each of my girls. Being Irish, and a script fan for many years. I still haven't processed that he is gone. I saw them at Bellsonic in Belfast back in 2018 to this day I have yet to a show that was half as good as theirs. The stage was thier own, Between Danny and Mark they were amazing their voices just echoed through the park. RIP Mark, you're an absolute legend and an Irish treasure.

A truly beautiful tribute ❤️ As a single Mum, I have bought every album as they released and my kids grew up loving them. It was my bucket list fave for us to watch you boys live and that night Danny stood next to us and we watched the Script, live, in front of us! I've seen you guys several times since, I'll not stop coming and agree that Mark would want you to carry on. RIP Mark....you live on in people's hearts ❤

I have been a The Script fan for a very long time now, I started listening to your music when I was a girl of twelve, meanwhile I am a young women. I really grown up with your music and it helped me so so much in brightest moments and the darkest holes of my life. The fact that Mark is gone broke my heart because you were a big big part of my teens and are still a big part of my life. My favourite artist❤️ I was so so sorry to hear that Mark passed away, he was a beautiful soul 🤍 I am sending so much love and strength to you all 🤍 🕯️
This is the first time since he passed away that I listen to a song of The Script, I felt so emotional and it hurts the fact that he is no longer with us (physically) but he will be forever in our hearts, in our minds and on those beautiful songs. I am in a puddle of tears, I still cannot believe he is truly gone from this world. I absolutely cherish the memories and the impact the script has had in my life. I personally got to see the script perform three times and I am eternally grateful that I got to see the passion and love Mark emitted from the stage when performing. There will always be a hole in my heart knowing he’s no longer here. Thank you Mark for all the love and music you gave this world. You will be forever missed. Rip mark!! You & the band saved my life massively. I wish I could’ve got the chance to meet you all & say thanks. (I did see you in Manchester many years ago) but we wasn’t close enough to you. Still can't believe Mark is gone from this world. I feel incredibly grateful and lucky to have seen you guys play in SF (actually Oakland) back in 2017. It was one of the best shows I've seen....and I've been to some pretty amazing concerts! Sending much love to the rest of the band and crew!

Being Irish, and a script fan for many years. I still haven't processed that he is gone. I saw them at Bellsonic in Belfast back in 2018 to this day I have yet to a show that was half as good as theirs. The stage was thier own, Between Danny and Mark they were amazing their voices just echoed through the park. RIP Mark, you're an absolute legend and an Irish treasure.
