you can soft reset mining and mine for different items if you dont get what you want. Also there's a litleo/electrike encounter in the obsidia ward: As soon as you enter the ward, go down the first alleyway and cut a tree. Inside the alley, there will be a litleo or electrike in the back. The litleo sees you and leaves so you have to find it again. To find it again, go to the house across the street from the pokemon center in the obsidia ward. But dont go into that house, go into the house to the left, which leads to the other side of the railnet. in there you have to battle "BANGBANG" for the litleo. Its lvl 40 or 45 i forgot.

A number of these rooms can just be solved with earthquake, but moves such as blizzard or Tailwind are needed later on. AFAIK, none of these rooms are necessary, but they do give you pretty decent rewards for solving them.
Judging by the current speed of the play through, they'll get to the next gym at round about Halloween. Still great to watch, keep up the great content. If the Nuzlocke fails, just keep going, the game is good enough to justify playing it all.
I could see them reaching Serra by Halloween; Kiki is next and she's probably about 2 weeks away, then Shade is after and that's probably a week after Kiki, then 2 weeks after would be Aya. That's like 6 weeks which would be Mid September
Yeah, if they ever get past Titania and Amaria, there will be Episode 18, which will likely feature at least one more ridiculously tough gym, a puzzle which Amethyst stated "She could not solve herself", and who knows what else. I'm looking forward to a lot of fun times in the future

Hey Nappy and Penta - op squad. I have a nice fun factoid for you. If you go back to the Opal Ward. To the main hub, those two trainers that keep asking to battle you. They have higher levels now. Leve 34 - 35 and they give out at least $500. Now they are giving a $1000 after I beat the next Gym Leader. Just to help you guys out with grinding and getting some money. Edit: I know this is like the third time I posted this but I just want to make sure the penta - op squad see's this so you guys can prosper. Most of you guys are broke in the game and three of you in particular have lost alot of mons. *cough* Twit, Nexus, and JAY! this advice can definitely help you guys get more money to by potions and help grind your mons. Hopefully for you guys to actually do well in this game. Also I figured you guys have seen it by now just making sure you guys got this info for sure. Bigger edit: Nexus did it. You can get Aironfaars additional options mod to hardcap XP at the level caps Also don't forget to update to E18 in a month or so when public release is out.
*Common candies* are sold at the candy store in the *Obsidia Ward* (east of the Grand Hall). There used to be someone selling them in the Grand Hall, but that person disappears after you fight the first Gym Leader. When you beat Shelly and can use Rock Smash check back under the stairs for the mining kit, which is probably the single most helpful key item you can find.
It does document all badges, but you never got one from Corey, he suicided before giving you a badge. And furthermore, in Reborn, its explained that if a Gym leader dies, their badges become invalid. For whatever reason. Spoilers, you fight not one, but TWO fighting-type gym leaders, aswell as another poison-type gym leader in the future. Look forward to it!
The cave at the abandoned power plant in beryl ward i recommend not going to the bottom of the cave until you have lvl 50s for your own sake because there is a lvl 57 pokemon chilling in there. just giving you guys a heads up.
I don’t want to be rude to those that get mad when the penta op crew isn’t doing the thing you want them to do (what I mean is the tips u guys leave them and they don’t do it the next episode.) is is like the 4th penta op. Not to mention they all do these for the Pokémon lets plays. They always and I say always do 3-4 eps of recording the same day. Like they aren’t ordinary recordings like other let’s players. Man I remember going through this cave only a couple days ago and I ran into the shiny graveler which would’ve been cool except that it self destructed and now I’m current to a bit further in the game because spoilers I’m battling Shade and I didn’t realise that discharge made the battlefield turn on and benefit my team so I didn’t give my Zebstrika discharge and now I’ve had to resort to giving my Torterra nature power which turns it into discharge so I can benefit and also got lucky with a trade in someone giving me a Mimikyu that I need to train. That makes my team so far Torterra, Zebstrika, Pansear(have a fire stone ready but I’m waiting for crunch and maybe flamethrower to remove fire blast), Zoroark, and Swalot but I’m gonna trial out Toxicroak to see if that’ll work for me.

You may wanna come back after you can use Rock Smash and get the Mining Kit. A LOT of good items can be mined up such as plates and the Oval Stone (All evolution stones actually) for Blissey if you plan on using it as a wall.
Also if you guys want this pokemon, go back and purchase the Floral Charm at the flower shop where you got the Wailmer Pail. The floral charm will attract Flabebe's on route 1, the Flabebe's are in a patch of flowers on route 1 and if you don't have the charm and you step into them you will be dazed and teleported away from the patch.

I'm not sure if they mentioned it but the reason you only have 2 badges on your screen is that the gym leader killed himself before giving you the badge. Since the badges are what give you access into leagues in junk it doesnt matter if you beat him or not. I forget how you actually get the badge.
Jay and mo both got shiny pokemon, eclipse is a girl so I wonder why nappy gave her a generic evil bad guy voice, literally the game tells you Corey didn't give his badge before jumping it's like they cant remember stuff,soon they will take 1 hour and 30 minutes to do shelly's puzzle unless they decide to look up how to do it then they might lose to shelly.
