None of this is a competition and I love knobs videos and his whole channel. That said I like the music you play with the pedals way more, and like the simplicity and your format way more. It’s perfect!
I completely understand what you mean. For me, collector emmitter iis way less pretentious. I don't think Knobs is a bad demo'er, but his little captions make me want to punch him for some reason. It's dumb and irrational of me, but I can't stand his videos.

Absolutely stunning demo! I had goosebumps all the way. Can't get enough of these textures, especially the ones in the beginning and at the end. Cooper FX is such a genius man, so blessed. Unrelated: I've seen in the drums+delay pedal videos that you have a thermae, are you planning on doing a demo on it too? That would be absolutely sick!
I absolutely agree, Cooper FX is constantly making some of the best pedals. Very excited for whatever he does next.
And I do have a Thermae, hopefully I’ll get around to demoing it! I feel like a lot of good demos are already out there, but maybe I can add something new

Great man ! Beautiful demo ! I was longing for more videos about this pedal, and was super excited when yours popped up :) ! I think I could beat my pedal addiction with this one, a Zoia and a Particle V2. But I cannot afford to beat my addiction for now ;)

Was wondering how different this is than some of the arcade cards. I have grains reverse and gen loss and love them! Does this do enough things differently to warrant a purchase? I love his pedals!
It is pretty different! He did translate some of these ideas over into the grains card, but they're a bit more fleshed out on this. Whether it's worth getting is really hard to say, but since they're not available new right now I'd personally stick with the Arcades until he does a batch of these, and then decide
Do you like this better for drones and soundscapes or the mood ? Do you think both are different enough to justify having both ?
I think they’re very different, but can do similar things. This has the freeze modes but also real time processing, and the mood has both as well with the looper and delay sides
Fantastic demo!! So having read through some of the comments below, sounds like you've had experience also playing the Chase Bliss Mood and the Red Panda Tensor (and maybe the particle - not sure). Anyhow, in this time right towards the beginning (around 2:03) you switch on and feature the Smooth Envelope setting/mode. This is the primary effect I'm after and wondering if I can accomplish with any of the other pedals mentioned above, or something else out there or just the Outward v2... and thanks for your time!
You can with Mood and I think you can with Particle but the Particle is a bit whackier

How can I get these sounds on the empress Zoia? This is what I was searching for, especially the beginning and end of this.
People are comparing it to the tensor, to me it sounds more like the red panda particle (which I have and love and will never let go)
Agreed, though it shares some in common with both. And all three are great pedals!
Do you think is similar to the MOOD Chase Bliss?

They all do the same thing but approach it differently. I have all three and use them in different ways, or am inspired by them differently
Is there any reason to get the Cooper FX Outward if I already have a Tensor? How similar are they?
They are similar but have some big differences. Tensor let’s you build the effect with a bunch of pieces, and Outward has a bunch of modes that are dialed in really well.

Yes, there’s a TRS 1/8” I put for midi. Super easy to set up with other gear

I have, and they're actually pretty different. So I guess it depends on what you're going for, CT5 is more of a looping pitch shifted delay kinda thing that can get pretty weird, and this is more short/chirpy ambient glitch thing

I think the halogram electronics microcosm pedal will do alot of what this pedal does in stereo
