If you consider an artist from Korea not just a singer, she is at the top. As a group BTS or Blackpink is in the top list but as a single artist she is the most popular. She is a complete package- Singer, Song Writer, Producer of Song, Actress (not just an actress but award winning actress) and many more. You can't expect more than these from a person.
Many people who watched Love wins all because of V, were for the first time introduced IU and were captured by her charm and talent. Many others know her from her acting, which is just as amazing!
This outfit was just a plain hoodie... But her staff painted all that stuff on that and it became iconic. Loved your reaction and don't get amazed it was just a trailer.. her work is beyond our poor imagination. Waiting to see more reactions
She has been in the industry for 16 years. Yes, she loves her fans ( UAENA : fandom name ) so much, even she gives donation she uses IUAENA name ( IU & UAENA ). FYI this is the 1st song that she composed when she’s 17/18 years old. For sure, you have to react more of her live performances. They’re insane
Thanks for this reaction, IU does not generally sings in English, she inserts it as part of many songs, when in tour sometimes she sings her songs in other languages, I heard her in Japanese, Cantonese, Mandarin (in Taiwan) and Thai (apart from Korean of course). She has made some Eng covers too. She's working on a world tour now, when in the US I'm sure she'll take at least one of her songs to sing in English. IU is smart versatile and incredibly talented, she has composed most of her songs(around 80 self composed) and her total discography is around 150. Until last year she were very comfortable singing live only in Asia. You can argue she does not need anymore than that, now include the success as an actress, she's very wealthy and very well known, also very generous (I could go an hour in this alone). She had it rough growing up and even when she got to the top she still dealt with very close friends taking their own life. IU is a phenomenon and even when she has not really tried hard, she has over 2 billion views in YT of her songs alone, not for reactions, news shows etc, stream? 2.6 billion on spotify while in asian streaming services has been insane even when considering an over 2 year pause in releasing songs. By the way TMI about her outfit it was just plain white gucci hoodie but all colors was her song names which got painted by her staff and their children. It’s really cool ,right?
