Yes. I had old skool Honda night hawks 650 and 750 awesome bikes in the 70s and 80s. to old to ride now with Arthritis. miss those days ! you did a good job looks great ! Be safe out there
That was way more involved than I would’ve thought. Great work tackling a huge job like that. The end result really looks awesome. Looks like a dealer/factory install. 👍
Thank you so much!! It was just about too much of a project, would have been nice to have a garage for it haha. I’m super stoked with the nearly factory finish look!!
Well done, looks good. Yes on the bike, my dad taught me on a Yamaha before I could touch the ground. Also road trips with HD and Moto Gutzi, and lots of dirt bikes.
Thank you!!! Definitely was a ballsy move to tear the van apart in a public parking lot 😆🤣 very greatful for a couple van friends who ran my to Harbor Frieght for mid project, tool purchases
Thank you very much!!! It was the most mechanical thing I’ve done, but figured there’s no reason I couldn’t do it! About half way through I was questioning my life decisions lol
Yes I've road on lots of motorcycles, but I only drove one.... right into a tree. Lol (43 years ago). That was a lot of work. I hope it works for you. Drive safe. Hugs ❤
Hahahaha I don’t what it is but trees are bike magnets. I’ve had a couple run ins with trees in my 450 trail riding era. Thanks for watching and commenting!
it's funny that you asked if I've ever ridden a motorcycle . . . just ONCE in all my 71 1/2 years on earth. Back in 1976 I rode on the back of my mechanics new 750 Honda. We went around 25 miles round trip to his house and back. It took a lot of "persuasion" to get me on it ( in 1968, I witnessed a fatal crash with a bike and a car in front of my Junior High School, that left me never wanting to ride on one ) At least I can say YES to your question LOL
Outstanding job. I'm proud of you!! Yes, I've ridden and owned a motorcycle back in the day. The bike was actually my husband's. Unfortunately, he was injured in an auto accident that required surgery, making it almost impossible to handle the weight of the bike, so we sold her. Now, instead, we have a boat. Fun too and probably safer at our age. ~Sherry
Hahaha my trim piece by the door may never sit correctly again after this project.. but other than that, no left over nuts or bolts thankfully hahaha. Old kawi 75s were no joke!!
Oooh super sick line up man!! The emoto is a test to see how my shoulder surgery will hold up, so far so good, hoping to get another 450 next, and then a 560/690/701/ect… to do some long distance trips on in the future! Thanks for watching and commenting!
Mad. Respect. I got a front hitch doo-hickey for my chevy and punked out of doing it myself. Didn't want to drill holes in the body. Mounting my carrier on the back is bs though....can't access my kitchen on the road. I have a honda ct 125 :)
Haha thank you!! Doing it in a public parking lot in San Diego was definitely a bit much.. That’s why I went front mount!! I love being able to easily open the back doors! (I think a rear hitch is coming soon though, I would like another 450 + the ebike)😅 sick!! My fav bike I’ve owned was a Honda xr100, small Hondas are the best bikes!!
I need to see a pic frim the drivers seat looking out. Im not sure i would like the field of view. I want to be able to see where im going. But good work - that was a lot to do.
Thank you!! In my video before this, and the video after this (releasing next Sunday) there’s clips of the drivers view. It’s very noticeable, but only an issue while off-roading and I’m looking at the ground for potholes and rocks
I watched you video even though it will never be what I will need to do ,but it was interesting 😂and of course support your channel and a chance of seeing gorgeous girl Casey which she gave me the biggest laugh when she got into the cupboard and eating the jar of peanut Butter🤣🤣🤣 which i havent finished watching yet, as my computer went flat 😉 👍.Sending loads of love and Blessings to you both ❤️ 🙏❤from Me V Aussie Land Down Under GODBLESS
Starting the install on my 2021 350. The splash guard is not coming out easily. There seem to be clips way up by some of the bolts and I don’t want to just pull and break them! But not sure there is a choice
Hahaha the only time it impacts the view is when I’m off-roading trying to watch for big holes and big rocks! Since getting it I’ve noticed a ton of other trucks and campers with front mount bikes. Safety is no issue, but legality is possibly an issue
@@DanVanLife Right on haha. Reach out to Future Motion for a Onewheel lol it’s a blast.. keep up the great vids look forward to seeing you and Casie’s adventures.🤙
What up brother! Good to see a video coming out.
Wow! That was alot of work! You did a great job Dan! Hello and blessings to you and cassie! Stay safe out there! Safe travels. 🙏😊🩷
Thank you!! Definitely a good project done!!

Hey Dan! Good to see you guys again!
Well done, looks good. Yes on the bike, my dad taught me on a Yamaha before I could touch the ground. Also road trips with HD and Moto Gutzi, and lots of dirt bikes.
wow Dan it's amazing what you have just done, and you didn't have a garage to do it in. amazing man.
Thank you!!! Definitely was a ballsy move to tear the van apart in a public parking lot 😆🤣 very greatful for a couple van friends who ran my to Harbor Frieght for mid project, tool purchases
I could never ever in a gazillion years be able to do that. Fantastic job. Looks neat. Hope you and Cassie are well. ❤
Thank you very much!!! It was the most mechanical thing I’ve done, but figured there’s no reason I couldn’t do it! About half way through I was questioning my life decisions lol

Cool hitch 🎉🎉
Thank you!! TorkLift makes some super clean products!
Nice job Dan! Pretty sure if that was me I'd have parts left over. 😂 When I was a kid I had a kawasaki 75 and a go cart. I wore them both out!
Hahaha my trim piece by the door may never sit correctly again after this project.. but other than that, no left over nuts or bolts thankfully hahaha. Old kawi 75s were no joke!!
(As a passenger,) a harley in the 80s, and a BMW about 3 years ago.
Oohh that’s rad!! I hope to get a big bike like a bmw adventure or Harley to do some long trips on soon!
I’ve been riding for over 40 years now and currently have 3 bikes. 1980 KZ1000, 2022 SV650 and a 2022 Street Bob 114.

Looks sweet. I would only ride on a Harley Davidson back in the day. Good job BTW. Hello sweet Cassie.
Thanks for watching and commenting!! It’s still on my bucket list to wheelie a Harley!

What happened to the greyhound
She still grey hounding! This video has like one clip of her in it towards the end!
How do you see where your driving with the bike in front of you, that would definitely be illegal where I live 🤔

No MC the last 30 ys 😄
Very very fair!! I’m trying to soak them in while my body can still take it! Thanks for watching and commenting!
Only ever was a passenger on a motorcycle.
I’ve ridden on a motorcycle a long time ago but can’t remember what type 🤦♀️
Bmw s1000xr
Way too much work dude, learn to ride a Onewheel or EUC . Easier to store in the van haha
Haha I’m not afraid of some work to have fun, I had InMotion wanting to send me an EUC, I just can’t get behind the look of riding them😅
