How do you set the pinion angle and center the rear end? I have no experience doing this myself, but I'm assuming that you need to support the car on its wheels in front, and by the leafsprings at the axle mounting point in back, so that the suspension is bearing the weight of the car, and then once the loaded suspension has ended up in its natural spot, adjust the axle side to side and the pinion up and down. But again, this is just a guess.
Where is your shop located ? I have a 53 car , I have a 57 3.55 rear end and an S10 T5 along with the cross member, mounting plate etc. I just need a shop to do the install and drive shaft
Hi, I have a 1951 Buick Special, and my panhard / radius rod snapped in half. I can't seem to find a replacement. Would I he able to just weld and drive? Thanks
Hey, I have the same kit but they don’t do a great job explaining which bracket goes where. Which brackets go on the left side and which ones go on the right side? Thanks!
Hey lucky, car is looking great!!! Would you happen to know how long the rear axle is from backing plate to backing plate. I have a 50 hardtop and going to swap everything as well. Thanks.
Man oh man, wouldn"t it be nice to be able to install a set of perches and springs in 4 minutes. You are the MAN!
Thanks Lucky for posting. It means a lot to see what's going on in your shop.
Top notch as always. Love that you demand total re-engineering of systems to match. I admire your knowledge, skill and quality.
That's going to be a great old new ride. My dad had one when I was a kid I loved that thing.
Those wider springs will help keep the back of the car more stable in corners...can't believe how narrow the old ones were!
The high speed camera work makes me want to upchuck breakfast
That’s going to be a sweet ride when you’re all done.
Will be cool to see it back on all fours... Hope it has a great stance !
That is going to be the coolest and the best 52 deluxe
Hey Lucky, how bout some 15 or 30 minute vids. I enjoy them all. Knoxville.
Great job Lucky. You da man!
Looks great ,thanks for the update
That looked like an Oldsmobile W-27 rear cover!
Later 8.5 GM diff with a GN cover, maybe even a diff from a GN. I don't remember if he covered it in a different video.
How do you measure to make sure the rear end centered before you weld?
How do you set the pinion angle and center the rear end?

Subbed earlier. On of my new favorite YT channels. Close race with Finn😂👊🏽

I put a '80 elcamino rearend in a '50 chevy deluxe and it was a pretty good fit
Nice looking kit

Need to upgrade
Are front brakes on 52 plymouth
What’s the rear end out of and was there modifications to it?
Love what you do 👊
What's the explorer all about? I've seen it a couple of times now!
always great lucky
What is the TCI part number for the kit you’re using? I have a 49 and I need to replace the rear suspension. Thanks in advance man!
What rear end and drive shaft did you use?
Which rearend did you using? Thanks
I'm gonna steal that intro. 😁
Why didn't you do discs in the rear as well since you were changing the rearend anyway?

What was the donor vehicle for the differential?
Are the Leaf springs and Perches from TCI?

Can you buy a rivet kit and tools to re rivet brackets?
What rear end did you use ?

The cheapest and easiest is a 4x4 s10 blazer with drums. I used a '94 axle in my '51 and it was the exact width of the factory rear
I should say the s10 blazer rear is the easiest to find. A '55-'57 rear axle is the easiest, as you only need to drill new holes in the perches
What do you mean a sealed drivetrain
Will grade 5 bolts be good enough? I would've thought it would need grade 8 bolts in these locations. Just curious.
What rear end was used?
WTF Lucky? Where's the driving footage?
Did you use primer on those parts first?
Jason Cassidy of course......
Your paint booth is larger than mine.... :)
What rear end??
Help...

Too much chit chat and not enough actually showing how to do the job
