Great purchase. 1:35 The Bavarian return letter stamps should be genuine, but they are just a kind of "seal stamps" for undelivered and opened letters which had to be returned. They are mentioned in German stamp catalogues, but not listed. Worth a few bucks. Greets from GER, U.
Very interesting old albums. Evidently, the same illustration was kept on the cover of the Scott albums for a number of years as I have a 1902 album with the same illustration. The later ones seem to be green with black printing. Also, the Scott catalog gives a description of the Bergedorf reprints that is very helpful in their identification.
Thanks for asking! Moved into a new home, found out we had another kid on the way, and now I’m a father of 2 and have to unfortunately move to a new home again, I’ll be back once everything gets worked out!
when you say "no value Im not even going to get into it" in your other videos it makes you sound like you are doing it for the money only. I mean you should make a video on FDC's
Yeah I know I can come across that way sometimes, I'm really in it for making collections as complete as possible as well as the history. If I come across parts of albums/collections that don't interest me I tend to just give them away to the next person. Hopefully the next person to go through them will find interest/value that I did not!

Love these old albums - I get box lots and its always fun to find old stuff like this.
The both covers are very attractive.
