Every other tutorial on YT seems to be coming up on the back deck, Ken comes forward into forward paddling position, seems way better position to finish IMO 😎
I was doing slaughterhouse about 1 hour ago and my friend swam and he said it was because he was pinned on the back deck so I definitely want to learn it
You don't need 0 angle. If you don't have 0 degrees, then it will make it very easy on your power side and very difficult (though not impossible) on your offside.

I guess the more angle between the two blades, the harder it is?

i do it with both sides on a 30 degree with minimal effort. just keep practicing

You should keep your arms nearest of your body, in order to keep safe your shoulder... Arms should touch the body in my opinion ;)
