What does everyone think about if the package opener will cut through a seat belt?

Honestly it might be a problem. Plus in a stressful situation keeping the belt on the cutting edge would be a real problem.

My knife tip broke immediately Alaska tax I paid 74.99 use it daily not a bad tool

Sorry to hear about the knife breaking, Leatherman has a good warranty policy.
