Ive changed the cups in my volvo with the block as that mack with a slide hammer I just tapped the injector cup and popped it out with abcheap slide hammer done 3 different trucks.
Just replaced a bad filter base on one today. After that it still had the idle and shut down issue. After running another test I found that the injector cups are in fact leaking air into the fuel. Unfortunately for the customer, this isn’t something I can handle where the truck sits and it will have to be towed.
I have a mack that has this issue I guess. Hard starting every once in a while. Drove it home and parked for the weekend and it wouldn't start back. What do I need to program the injectors? I'm trying to not have a dealership do it again for 8k they charged me last time.
A HAVE A QUESTION? I JUST BUY A MACK 2015, WHEN I PUT THE ENGINE BRAKE STAR WORKING SMOOTH THEM THE ENGINE STAR DOING SOME VIBRATION? LIKE SHAKE DO YOU THINK ITS THOSE CUPS BAD? IT HAS 430,000MILES
I don’t recall the year and I heard the same however never been a bulldog fan mainly because it’s all one off equipment as other brands have universal parts
My 2018 mack anthem had all the injectors replaced then the cam went out with another fuel injector out the fixed that now I'm getting fuel in my oil I have 420k miles is that normal for a mack I'm about to trade this truck

coolant flows through the head and cup if you pull the cup coolant will enter the cylinder
