I was a performer and a singer for so many years , making a living playing my guitar and always wondered how this musical instrument was made. Wow , it takes so much time and effort...not easy. In his workshop, wooden boards that have been naturally dried for more than 10 years are always stored. He is a master of guitar soundbox production over 40 years old, recognized by many guitar players. I sincerely hope that his guitar, which is produced by the master's hand at the request of the customer, will remain a luxury item.
At the end of the video when the craftsman plays his guitar, am I the only one who hears it sizzling on the keys? Maybe this is exactly the difference between a quality guitar and a "factory" one!! In my opinion, from what I have seen, the alignment of the bridge and neck should be checked and this guitar needs a refret or grinding of the fretboard and frets!! These are those guitars that come out of production and then you have to take them to a luthier to fix them and it's not always certain that they can be fixed if they were built badly!! However, it is always fascinating to watch the workmanship of these instruments, perhaps a little more attention would increase the price but certainly also the prestige and future sales!
Thats exactly what I think ! To watch that "final quality check" really brought me down. If the strings are rattling like that, its either 011 gauge strings that one really should not use, or nut resp. saddle are too low. But in most cases the action is too high - no big deal for the ambitioned homeworker ! All of my acoustic guitars are from the far east, I Love the sound of most, had to rework them and saved a lot of money ! Who needs a "genuine" Martin, Gibson, Taylor anyway ?

I can't believe they don't even bother to wipe the sanding dust off before applying the finish! And as others have noted, gluing the bridge onto a finished top is bad practice.

I wouldn't trust that bridge to stay on long as it was badly glued and not clamped properly. It'll pull up after a few years.
Some people just gotta hate on stuff. Even though they probably haven't built anything in there life. What I see is a man and wife in business for 40 yrs making beautiful instruments.
I've always admired this sort of work, I'm just too dumb to do it. These folks are brilliant!
They weren't born knowing how to do this....they learned it and so could you....don't sell yourself short

Респект коллегам! Всё грамотно, отлажено и четко.Такое производство может быть качественным только если оно семейное, когда семья дорожит своим качеством, потому что это их имя.
Три нарушения уже есть, уже ни за что не купил бы такую мебель, ну как на ней играть? Лады тонкие низкие, время на прижатие и отжатие струны уходит много, а это не попадание в метроном гарантированно, никто нижний бридж не клеит на лак, и гриф не под правильным углом склеян, струны низко положишь, а правой руки постановка съедет, много косяков!

Wonderful to watch and observe this small operation. It's a hard physical process sometimes and made easier by some wonderful manufacturing jigs and all done without a CNC machine in the room ! True artisans !

The processes are very good, but the gluing of the bridge, over the lack, left me curious about its efficiency.
Yeah, that caught my eye, too. The single fly in the ointment.
But, I also noticed they put in very nice bridge plates: large and good wood.
That's very important. It helps avoid "belly bulge".
I'm more concerned they're just painting on some mysterious finish substance with zero PPE. You can always make a new guitar; you can't make new lungs.

вот чем интересно это видео - отличный пример, как можно "на коленке" организовать небольшое производство. Зёзд с неба не хватают, на жизнь достаточно, что уж хорошо. Мастер рок любит👍
Звёзд не хватают? Это же Crafter. Они в Корее сами производят, а их сын наладил массовое производство на китайских заводах

@@andrejshamin1452 да я ж не про интернационал говорил, а про то, что эти люди - звёзды гитаростроения, пусть и не самые яркие
Скажу как мастер, скорее всего это недорогие гитары, потому что покрытие так ненаносится , необходимо наносить тонкими слоями несколько раз иначе будет плохое звучание нада только распылять, шлифовка меня вообще убила так не делается неравномерно стирается шпон на деке, сверление колков просто по шаблону без точного кондуктора это некачествено. Хорошая гитара на коленке в гараже не делается.. Думаю это инструменты качества "али експресс".Которые втюхают нашим болванам и скажут мол-"ручная работа" я бы сказал "ручная халтура". Нивкоем случае не хотел обидеть эту семю, возможно они так зарабатывают себе на хлеб..
Ну, многие мастера классичек используют метод нанесения тампоном (например шеллчный лак только так и наносится). Но в целом да, вы всё правильно написали.
