I did put Pringle as a toss up/tie with Crowder but if they end up keeping 7 both make it with Brycen Tremaine being another close call making it. Kazmir Allen is another honorable mention if he stands out in special teams. The last one/two receiver spots will come down to the wire I think. The FO did just re-sign Pringle so that means quite a bit and though he only had 14 receptions and started one game last season he had over 150 yards which I assume is a pretty solid YPC number and lots of those limited receptions came in clutch situations such as 3rd and longs/when the play broke down which was often. Just watch the Commanders top 10 plays of the 2023 season and highlights from last season and you'll see Pringle making big catches pretty often and he also played 41% of the special teams reps and he also is a starting KR. So there's that.

I think Big Country would fit much better than that last Cowboys guy. He was alright but has an arrogant and boring personality. Big Country is hilarious, much more open minded and 100 times more knowledgeable without a doubt. His energy is contagious and always amps me up. One of the few Cowboys' TH-camrs I really respect and enjoy watching. We gotta do our part and bring this to Louis Tee and Mad Dogg/Philly dude whose name escapes me at the moment 😂 attention!
Idk about both guards we drafted last year being cut
I have a feeling in a few years when we look back at chef P DQ first draft we’re going to say it was not a home run but it was a grand slam I’m thinking six core starters in this draft pass regimes would need four drafts for six core starters JD BC BS MS LM and this last one is our future frank warner JM best draft we have had since the good old days !
I really think Owens should make this team. He might not play but Kam Curl was a 7th round pick who was making plays in camp and had 1 injury happen and got on the field almost immediately and was awesome. I know they’re different players and we’re in a different spot then we were in 2020 but I’d still like to see him make the team.
In order to keep Owens I’d probably cut CP75

I like most of what you did. I disagree with the number of DTs and LBs. I would subtract Mathis and Davis and from what has been reported looks like the defensive staff likes Butler over Forrest.

This is a solid roster. My only push back is John Ridgeway and the 6 LBs. DQ and Joe didn’t see Ridgeway’s value in Dallas, I don’t see why we would keep him. And I can’t imagine DQ keeping 6 LBs.
Maybe it wasn’t they didn’t value him in Dallas, maybe they just liked another guy more than they liked him. Our roster isn’t close to the roster Dallas had the past few years so he could make it over a couple of guys if he impresses.

To be honest other than Quan Martin there may not really be one!? St. Juste has played nickel as well but not so great from what I remember. As Louis Tee said himself if Mikey Sanstril gets injured for a significant amount of time they are screwed! They really need to find a suitable back up nickel. Quan Martin can do it but that takes a starting FS spot up and who could suitably take over there? That'd be a disaster. 😮

through waivers.
@ around 16:00 Reports out of camp is that Trent Scott has played awful @ RT and it's looking pretty bare at RT behind Andrew Wylie which is really saying something seeing how poorly Wylie played there last season. Now in all fairness to not only Wylie but the entire o-line Eric Beinimeys terrible play calling which had the o-line in pass pro for 3+ seconds on a constant/consistent basis for the ENTIRE SEASON (!!!!?). Being dead last in running calls played in the entire league says all you need to know. Add in the fact that Sam Howell tended to hold onto the ball for far too long and far too often and it's no wonder the o-line played so poorly. Yes, the o-line was lacking overall talent but the unit as a whole looked much worse than they really were and that's a fact.
With some players coming in their second/third seasons (Chris Paul/Ricky Stromberg/Braden Daniels/Mason Brooks, etc), several FAs (Tyler Biasdez ((?))/Nick Algretti ((?))/etc) and the draftee Brandon Coleman, along with a hell of a more balanced and improved play calling/schemes with more quick passing/run plays and I see an improved o-line without a doubt. More talent + better play calling = better o-line/waaaaaaaaaay less sacks/pressures, etc. I haven't even mentioned the fact about the major improvement at the starting QB position and that's yet another big reason for improvement! The TEs/RBs all pass pro/run block well which is a big help as well!
The blocking will be fine. Not a dominant top 10 unit overall but MUCH better than last season!
Also even though I like dfoe more than Percy . Dfoe has been working with the 3s . They like Percy butler more . Percy has been working with the 2s
@louie you were right about Dfoe . According to the depth chart dfoe backsups chinn. In this system dfoe is a SS not FS . With del Rio he played FS . Percy is 3rd string behind Revo and Quan
