    I was developing really bad indigestion and my food felt like it was not moving. I came across some homeopathic doctors that talked about how grains can bloat the stomach and cause a lot of digestive issues. So, I started decreasing grains from my diet and it worked. My stomach was so much better.

    Dr. Bobby you are a beacon of life. My health started showing signs of breaking down at the age of 46, I’m now 71 and seeing how my health just gets worse and worse despite medicine. I got your book yesterday and besides listening to your podcast, this book has made me decide to stop eating meat, I have been losing the taste of meat anyway. My priority is my health at this time. The taste of meat will not be missed that much anyway. I’m so glad to get answers that make sense and answers the mystery of bad heath. I’m starting the Teatox tea tonight. The cookbook will be here in a couple of days, can’t wait to see recipes that I know will help a lot. Appreciate what you do.

    Happy Tuesday! I started the 14day detox on June 5th, and I gotta say Its AMAZING!!! Whatever I had going on with my gut has been repaired! I had gas, acid reflux and a funky breath thing going on (nothing gum, flossing or gargle could do!) I have 7 more days, and I can't wait to see what else is eliminated! I'm looking forward to not wearing Deodorant! LOL Thank You so much for ALL YOU'RE Doing! 😁

      I started a 28 detox as well, on only 6 day now. Survived the bitter first 3 days. I use lemon for under armpit cleansing and so far no odor.

    I have a health smoothie (beets carrot spinach basil chia seeds banana blueberry little bit of protein powder or shake pineapple almond milk) that I drink 5 to 6 days a week. Plus more spinach salad during the week. The acid reflux only comes around when I eat my cheat meals sometimes or I eat the wrong things too late. I don't believe in taking Tums or Prilosec. Never have. Hot tea usually Ginger root ginseng for example pushes it away when it acts up. Also focus on drinking more water every day. Plus reg exercise. I believe I got it from drinking too much in my 20's. Too many calls to "Uncle Earl" and too many loose cigs ( which I stopped since 2012) lol. Only social drinks now. Usually tequila but I NEVER over-consume. Let me know if you have any extra suggestions. Thanks

    Hi Dr Bobby, I suffered with gerd for many years. I tried just about every otc antacid/antigas product available. I was put on the 'purple pill' (nexium) for a while, than placed on prilosec later on, went through this for many years. ( I was also diagnosed with a herlital hernia)The first of this year I started watching y.t. suggestions for acid reflux relief by changing my diet and now I don't need any of those meds. I also just had my colonoscopy/gastroscopy and everything is good, no sign of the herlital hernia hernia. Thanks to you and a couple of the other drs I watch. You are a blessing Dr Bobby, I've told my family members about you. Me and my daughter will be ordering some of your fruits and teas. Thank you❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

    I sometimes suffer from low iron and must receive iron infusion about every 2-3 years. I can’t remember where I learned this, but one of the symptoms I experience when my iron is almost depleted is indigestion. I am careful to not consume a diet that doesn’t agree with me, so when I start having “trouble”, I know it’s near time for another infusion. I shared this with the PA at my hematologist’s office and was told there was no connection to indigestion and low iron. It could be because I thought it was iron that aids in digestion, as opposed to low iron affecting the volume of stomach acids in the body that assist digestion-which is truly two different things. I suppose I did not explain myself very well-but I kinda sorta halfway knew what I was talkin’ about!
    Thanks for the facts, Dr. Price, and for providing the medical basis behind it.

    I am on Pantaprazole. My acid was going off into my lungs causing me to have asthma like symptoms. It was scary. My breathing was also thick. That was because I had esophagitis. Based on the foods on my do not eat list, I now know the culprit, I just need to do better. I never had indigestion or the burning that everyone talks about. Since I have been on meds, I have not had any issues with Gerd but the solution is to eat right to get off these meds BUT it is so hard.

      I agree, my acid reflux started when I took HBp meds 2 years ago. I recently stopped 3 months ago I take proton pumps once a day, I’ve been 2 days free taking them. I did the baking soda text and I burped 6 minutes later. It’s hard with the pills but I’m going to try my best as it can hurt u in the long run. The dr. Doesn’t believe it will affect me in the future but we know why

    Hello Dr. Bobby,
    I have suffered from that acid reflux after eating for at least two years; and yes I was popping the tums. But guess what; I recently completed the 14 day detox, eliminated the bad food and now I don’t have that problem as much. It used to happen every time I drank coffee so no more coffee. Also fasting and more exercise. At sixty years old I’m a work in progress. Thank you for this valuable information.

    Dr. Price, you are touching on the greatest health trauma drama of my life. I had nausea - vomiting which I eventually came to the conclusion was stress related, but doctors gave me various acid reflux medications and all smell broke loose. I came to the conclusion (unaided by doctors who knew next to nothing) that I had acquired TMAU, a rare digestive disorder. It has taken years not to stink, through trial, effort, and error. I concluded I had low stomach acid due to stress and medication and that my gut was a complete mess. What has helped me is avoiding high choline and high trimethylamine foods like egg yolks and ocean fish. Now I can eat small quantities of raw cruciferous vegetables. At one point I went on a vegetable fast. I had stopped eating cruciferous vegetables because they can interfere with digestion. I stopped eating beef, but now I can eat it ( organic grass fed.)Some of the most helpful foods are salads and kombucha. Figs, raisins, dates, and flavin rich foods help tremendously. Salt, povidone iodine, and rubbing alcohol help to deodorize clothing. I wouldn’t wish TMAU on my worst enemy. Beware of acid reflux medication! I hope this helps someone. Also I do drink a little cola each day (7.5 oz can) The phosphoric acid helps break down my food and helps me not to stink. Wish I didn’t have to do so, and I hope to discontinue one day.

    • @gabrielamagana7882
      @gabrielamagana7882 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@adrianmiller3289 your welcome! Alkaline water is good but not for people with low stomach acid. When you consume alkaline water your diluting the low acid you already have in your stomach making GERD worse. I’ve done so much research lately thinking I had high stomach acid because that’s what doctors tell you. They just put a bandaid on the issue but they don’t know the root cause. 90% of people with GERD have low stomach acid not high and they don’t know that. That’s why there symptoms never improve. It’s sad we have to take our own health into our own hands at times. Our stomachs are meant to be acidic so we need to eat fermented foods to balance out our acidity and keep our stomach working properly. I found a great wellness location we’re they have helped me tremendously with my GERD issues. They are called “The Wellness Way” Hope this helps 🙏🏻
