What I like about summer: Flowers in the garden and summer treats like fresh-picked corn and produce from local farms and soft ice cream from shops open only for the season. I also enjoy dramatic thunderstorms - as long as I'm inside where I'm safe and dry. LOL!
Oooooo thunderstorms, yes!!! I like the big noisy flashy ones! Haven’t had any of those yet this summer but fingers crossed!!! ⛈️
My favorite thing about summer is going to the fruit orchards with my kids. We have one here in Maine that we go to every year for strawberry, raspberry, blueberry picking. They have apples, pumpkins, gourds, and a corn maze and petting zoo year round. It’s a family tradition but I love berry picking with them. I agree with you about the ☀️ rising early in the summer. Here in Maine it’s already light out by 5am so I just feel happier getting up early and getting a bunch of things done and having some me time before the kids even wake up. Same thing in the evening. Doesn’t get dark until 9pm so late night swims and hanging out outside is great.
I’ve been warming a lot of the catalog scents lately to try and figure out what I am or am not going to club this catalog season. I don’t have much so I guess that a good thing so far. LOL
Longer evenings are really nice!! And mornings totally do feel more productive when it’s light from the start!
My favorite thing about summer is no cold, snow, or ice! The snow is pretty, but I do not care for winter at all. I've been all over the board with melting. Recently, I've melted coco lime, rainbow sherbet, be fabulous, bora bora blossom, hazelnut latte, almond croissant, an old juicy bar of evergreen and grapefruit, and a mini melter bag of cider lane + pumpkin pecan waffles + dunk my donut from rose girls. I'm a mood melter and wouldn't have it any other way 🥰
That’s a GREAT assortment of bars you’ve been melting lately - a little all over the map sure, but all absolutely fabulous scents!
Great empties Robyn! Sorry you didn't escape the bug, summer colds are the worst ☹ I hope you feel better soon! My favourite thing about summer is the ease of not having to put on multiple layers just to leave the house. Its so nice to just throw some sandals on and go! Have a great day! 🌞
Omg you’re soooo right!!!! That’s a close second - everything is just easier. You park the car in the driveway and don’t check the weather to see how cold it’s getting and wager whether it’ll start in the morning. Fight with garage doors. Layer clothes on everyone. Trek through snow/ice everywhere. Remember to bring all your mitts, hats, scarves, snow pants, coats with you every time you enter/exit a new place.
The logistics of small temperature related details is the worst part of winter 😅
Hi Robyn, tfs, my favorite thing all time love about summer, is no shoveling snow or scraping windows 😂.
There is something to be said for the luxury of just getting in your car and driving it lol!
Thanks for sharing! I also hope gimme candy makes the catalogue! I have 1 bar in my quarterly club too I also love the longer days of summer! As others have also said it’s just nice to throw flip flops on and leave the house and no need to scrape windows. Also enjoy not having to walk our puppy all bundled up and not make school lunches. I have a long list! Lol

Favorite scent as of recent is Sassy Girls “Well always have Paris” I’ve turned to sassy girls and will get some from Harper James because of your channel.
The way I feel about summer berry melon is that it’s one of the kinds of scents I tend to melt more often in the bedrooms.
I haven’t tried that one from SassyGirl!!! Harper James is very good too - I especially like her Salty Pumpkin/Salty Apple for fall!
Great empties Robyn, I love these videos for some warming inspiration & scents that I had forgotten about or overlooked! I’ve been warming a lot of Kukui + Coconut the past few weeks, I changed out & replaced it with the same scent 3 times in a row so need to give it a break as I don’t want to go nose blind to it! My favorite thing about Summer is just being able to be outdoors more with my family. I’m not a crazy outdoorsy person but Summer forces me to go out and enjoy some fresh air + vitamin D!
Kukui & Coconut is one I haven’t gotten to yet this summer - I need to pull that one out! Thank you!!!
The long sunlight for me is my favorite too!! I hate winter because it gets dark so early 😞
I know this sounds nuts, but all I smell is a cream soda/root beer note from White Sands. That’s all I kept thinking when you were talking about your Root Beer/Vanilla mix 😂
My favorite things about summer is the super rich smell of the woods: moss, damp earth, plants, and tree bark. I channel that specific scent during February & March just to make it through the last part of winter lol. My other equal fav is just listening to the breeze. As mushy as it sounds, it travels through so many more things during the summer months- trees full of leaves, plants, wind chimes, tall grasses. I just love it, especially when you can hear a big fuzzy bumble bee happily bumpling along with it lol. That’s so nuts to hear about the hours of sun you have in the summer. I had no idea it was like that in parts of Canada.
Bumblebees have got to make the list of best parts of summer 🐝! I love those big fluffy ones that bumble around!
I think Martha here on TH-cam gets Rootbeer from White Sands or My Wish (i can’t remember which!) I can smell it if I’m looking for it, but it doesn’t jump out at me!

My favorite things about summer are no school and the longer days. I feel like I have so much more time to spend with my family during the summer. I really don’t like getting off work in the winter and driving home in the dark, picking my kids up from after school care in the dark. It has this way of making you feel like all you have time to do is work when your daylight hours are all spent there. My youngest son plays baseball in the summer too, which is probably his favorite thing about summer. Even though it’s way too hot, I enjoy watching him play.
Yes the shorter daylight hours can really take a toll! Less chauffeuring kids during the summer too!
I’m still melting summer scents. 😊 My favorite things about summer are flip flops and popsicles!
My favorite thing about summer is the sunshine & going to the pool! I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thinks Peace Lily Be With You smells like shampoo/conditioner but I love it. It has that clean fresh out of the shower scent to it. I warmed it on a rainy day & fell in love with it so it went into my club. My husband even complimented it on how clean it smelled. Is there a date of when we will be able to see what's coming back for the Fall/Winter catalog? I heard it's end of July so I'm hoping this weekend we find out!? Fingers crossed 🤞

Love hearing about your empties, thanks for sharing!. My favourite thing about Summer would probably be that I can use the heat as an excuse to treat myself to yummy cold drinks like slushies 😂😅
YESSSS! Slushies just aren’t the same any other time of year!
I just mixed Sugared Strawberry with Squeeze the Day for strawbery lemonade!

I can’t seem to get anything to throw in my house during summer. No matter how small the room, less wax more wax, etc. this is my first time melting in this house as we moved. It’s a huge, old house - closed floor plan though so I thought it wouldn’t be an issue. I’m praying fall and winter will
Be different because otherwise it’s pointless to even melt wax. The only scent I did get throw on was Beach. Oh and my favorite thing about summer is everything! I love the warmth and the sun. No having to take kids to school etc!
Different houses really do take wax so differently - summer can be a challenge due to air flow from AC/windows, and there’s not a lot you can do about that. I hope you can find a solution! Are your ceilings high? Is there maybe a cross-breeze pulling air across the house and out a window?
Sometimes the fall/winter scents are just stronger/more substantial also.
As a teacher, my favorite thing about summer is no work 🎉😂 TY for sharing your empties!

I like the blue coconut water too. The thing I like about summer is cold drinks like slushes and iced coffee. I have to be careful with them because I get sick easily but I do enjoy them in the summertime.
I’m finishing up a lot of my partial summer bars: Palm Trees & Ocean Breeze, Summer Holiday, Skinny Dippin’ etc. I’m excited to get some transition scents out next month like Scarlet Sunflower and Apple Press.
I’m also not a huge fan of summer but I am a school counselor so I’m off for all of June and July. So not going to work for a couple months is my favorite part of summer 😎
Nice, I’m always jealous that my husband gets summers off too!!! I’ll be bringing out Scarlet Sunflower for early August too - can’t wait to get right into the fall bars!
Aloha Citrus is in my Club. It's a light to medium throw, lasting about 10 hours in my experience. Not a banger but the scent is gorgeous. I warm it year round.
Oh yes I agree with you about having the sun out in the morning. In the winter I would go to work in the dark and come home in the dark.
Hi Robyn! The Disney 100 bar … sooooo light for me, couldn’t smell. Even in the bathroom. Total bummer. Hope you feel better 🙏🏻

Ah, definitely not a summer person. Oklahoma summers are hot & humid so not a fan. I would say one favorite thing would be the flowers. Not a green thumb by no means but I love to plant flowers.

Ooh I hope we get gimme candy this Fall in some kinda way! I can't remember how I got one measly bar but I did and it is looooooong gone.
