Tester Tuesday is an interactive weekly video series where I review Scentsy fragrances by warming my accumulated testers and / or bars. My goal is to review scents for you while simultaneously diminishing my stash! Viewers decide which scents are warmed by voting each week.

Hi, Patricia! I noticed this morning that my eggnog wax was emitting a bit of smoke or vapor when warming. Has this happened to you? Do you know if it’s normal?

Not with that particular scent …but I’ve seen it with really hot warmers, mostly tea lights or 24w hot plates but I have also seen it from my Silver Frost Scentsy warmer. Its my understanding it’s the fragrance oil vapours escaping. I’m not sure if it’s bad per se, but I must admit it did startle me.
What warmer were you using?

@@inkedandglittered2029 I just wondered because I had that happen to me with the blue colored 15w bulb. The vapors/smoke came from the blue color literally burning off the bulb. It freaked me out a little.

I was waiting for Ambrosia to be available and will try it but thinking probably won't like it...I don't generally like strawberry because it seems to smell very chemically to me and not too authentic and I don't like musk much either in scents :/ And the new UP scent is a total no for me ...if I want to smell shampoo I'll hop in the shower ;) but I'm sure lots of people will like both of these, just not for me. My votes are Dominica x2 :) Loved it when it came out but seemed I remember it wasn't very long lasting...but it was really good while it lasted!!!

Remember these are just my impressions on the scents. Maybe wait and hear if others get the same, or chance it and try if you’re intrigued.

@@PatriciaG-NosetoToes I did hear a few other takes on UP and I don't think I would like it because I don't like any kind of shampoo, cleaning product or what I detect as soapy notes...like everyone seems to love Jammy Time and it smells like soap to me...not a bad smell but not what I like really in a room. You have a good sniffer and are spot on with your scent descriptions...We don't always like the same scents but we do smell pretty much the same notes in the scents. :)
