I call this chapter "Teddie meets a character from Senran Kagura and it goes exactly as you'd expect." I still loved this chapter though. The race was absolutely hilarious.

You can research it if you want. And Weiss Schnee is also a Jerk at first but both began to mellow overtime as their own series progress. In order to see Jin's caring side (especially the time when he saves Makoto and even said that her safety is all that matters to him), you have to play the BlazBlue games and delve more into the story.

And even Noel comments that Jin has changed a bit in CP. Im not gonna mention gag reels and such because yes, those are non-canon. Yes, Jin is still a Jerk even after character development. I didn't say he was not a Jerk anymore, I was saying he mellowed down. Much like Gilgamesh from the Fate franchise, he's still arrogant but toned it down. And as you can see from the video above, he was able to work perfectly well with Weiss and NOT ONCE did they ever antagonize each other's tactics. In fact, their dialogues mesh well together by commenting that the race is "Getting stupid". If character development to you means you are expecting Jin to get rid of his Jerkass nature completely and become more loving (Which he actually he is, again he is a "Tsundere" so he doesn't like to show his soft side too much), that would be impossible much like the fact that you can't expect Ragna to get rid of his rude nature and sailor-mouth.

This is cool and funny 😆. Teddie being the main character of chapter 4, being a flirt, teaming up with Yumi to beat Jin and Weiss in a race 🏁. It's a fun chapter. Teddie however didn't deserve to be left on the beach 🌴 like that.
i dont know anything about any of the characters in this game besides the persona 4 arena characters but yumi is precious and i will protect her with my life
I like to imagine that Teddie knew he could have used his teleportation, since he can summon TVs and go through them but that would have made things pretty dull. That, or he just forgot.
Honestly I wished all characters in story has same level of power, INCLUDING Susanoo. Would be interesting and hilarious to see him interact with characters and can’t do anything. Lol
