Great tour Joe! I liked the first 2 homes and the hilltop. The second home didn’t have a yard and neither did the hill top home. I like the lifestyle of the hilltop even though it was a little close in proximity to the other homes for my liking. The last home had a great view but I didn’t like the fact that it’s located on a main road and I would be concerned with noise.

I’m going to be commenting as I go so that I won’t forget anything.
House #1 great location, awesome Tile details, love the old style kitchen, Nice space in general. But it’s just not my style.
House #2 The courtyard so far has been my favorite thing, The house has some nice upgrades but it really feels like a lot of boxes put together, Something just doesn’t sit well with me on this one.
House #3 Definitely a great location, Tons of square footage, nice big rooms, only one acre? I would have expected 3-5 acres for the price, everything seemed nice BUT I feel like the architect on this one didn’t use much imagination 💭.
Doesn’t feel like a home 🏡 to me 😢.
House #4. OH MY GOSH 😮 when I saw and heard the Waves at 1,000 Steps.. It immediately brought me Home 🏡 😊. Since I grew up on the Mesa , I spent a lot of time on these beaches 😊. Kind of a strange entrance, Shoreline drive is quite noisy and busy, other then that it’s a great location, the upstairs is amazing 🤩!
That master shower doesn’t make sense to me because I would think that it would be to cold with any breeze coming in. I could Definitely see myself living in this one.
Santa Barbara is my favorite place in this world 🌎 to me. I was just down there for a very quick trip and loved every hour of being there and as soon as I saw those beautiful mountains I really felt like I was Home 🏡.

I loved the third home. Stunning views. And the fourth home was lovely too. It had an awesome balcony, though I would be concerned with noise level. It does give you something to watch while you sit on the balcony enjoying a coffee or glass of wine. You made me laugh when you commented on the toilet opening up by itself and that funky music In the fourth home. Lol. Great tour today.

Champagne taste and caviar dreams. That one was very unique for being located centrally in SB, up high in the sky, and close to the beach.

Santa Barbara used to swept the Gang Situation under the rug, so it did not hurt the tourist trade. Things changed when violence started happening in broad daylight and everyone had cell phones with camera and Edhat News comments.
I am born and raised in SB. We have gangs, but it’s been very quiet on that front for over 10 years. There was a time when there was a rash of incidents where they harmed each other. The Grand Jury Investigation into Santa Barbara corruption of permit processes concerning i.e. ADU’s. One person fired, some retired, some quit. In Hawaii City Officials are serving jail time for bribes.
They were resistant at first and then they had to go and the ADU’s now are in abundance. I am selling a home with one right now!
Santa Barbara seemed immune to State and Federal laws.
They tried to avoid the ADU mandates but the State took care of that and now people are building them all over town.
The city doesn’t care what the public thinks because it comes down to greed and money.
Perhaps, they need to overhaul who is running the show in SB.
Hauling groceries up stairs and trash and recycling down is no fun.
Maybe you had a great way to stay active good exercise lol.
