- SNB448 ended its working life with Chase and has been restored over several years back to the condition it was when it operated for London Country Bus Services.
I seem to remember this particular one. I was born and raised in Tring Hertfordshire and we had london country buses. They ran nationals between Watford and Aylesbury.
Such a beautiful sight and that sound brings back memories too! I wish I had the chance to ride on one of these again!
Used to work on this bus many, many, many years ago. I like the fact you still have the running plate MA still on the bus. Beautify restored by the way
One of the very few lucky ones still with us
What a gorgeous sight. A beautiful podless national bus and wonderful sounds from that 510 engine..... just awesome ❤❤

Brings back memories, drove my first LN in the early 80s out of Leatherhead garage, was a novelty as there was not a lot of them up in my area of Scotland.
I've never known exactly why but Scottish operators seemed much more fond of the National 2 than the original for some reason. How long were you at LH?
@@LeylandFiveTen About 2 yrs then I joined Brighton & Hove, came back to Scotland in 1990, loved my time down there, would have stayed but my wife wanted to come home.
Lovely!!!
have you been on its sister YPL 449T
Any idea where i can find a preserved for North western in wigan in before 2000 i dont know the exactly the year of North Western blue and red livery? i mean i want watch video on youtube. thanks
No pod??
No, it's a B series. A number of differences to save production costs were made to offer a cheaper alternative to the original, and what became the A model.
The ONLY way for a national 😊😊
The B series looked better than the original
