London Country Leyland National SNB448 (YPL448T) 'Theresa' off for a test drive on 07JUL23.

SNB448 ended its working life with Chase and has been restored over several years back to the condition it was when it operated for London Country Bus Services.

I seem to remember this particular one. I was born and raised in Tring Hertfordshire and we had london country buses. They ran nationals between Watford and Aylesbury.

Used to work on this bus many, many, many years ago. I like the fact you still have the running plate MA still on the bus. Beautify restored by the way

I've never known exactly why but Scottish operators seemed much more fond of the National 2 than the original for some reason. How long were you at LH?

No, it's a B series. A number of differences to save production costs were made to offer a cheaper alternative to the original, and what became the A model.
