    I am from Karachi in Pakistan. Our Parish priest is Spanish and we are blessed to have a Seminary in our Parish with Seminarians from Malta, Ecuador Philippines, Spain etc.. They are young and selflessly serve learn and adjust in difficult circumstances.
    It's such a joy ho hear your vocation story. May God's grace be with you and guide you. I say the ' Prayer for Priests' daily (request all who read this to do so too). Will surely keep you in my prayers as I hope you keep.us in yours.

    Great video! It's wonderful seeing younger men following God's call to the priesthood. Please pray for more vocations because we need more priests. I never wanted to be a priest but this past year I've been discerning God's call and I feel that maybe God is calling me to be a priest. I struggled with sin during high school and as a young adult but God has helped me turn my life around and set me on the right path. I am now currently applying to the seminary and hopefully will be starting this fall. I've never been more excited and at peace. Please keep me in your prayers. God bless!☺☺☺

    Subdeacon, may God continue to bless you in your vocation. I know that you’ll be a huge asset to the Church which desperately needs orthodox priests who teach orthodox doctrine and morals. Also, would you ever consider offering the traditional Latin Mass? If we as a Church can fully restore the old Mass, we can teach the fullness of the traditional Faith as our faith is based on the liturgy . Lex orandi, Lex credendi

    This is very good. I wish there was more choice meaning candidates could easily choose dioceses. That would allow choosing a seminary. I studied for three years and left. I tried two seminaries but not luck. Adoration, Rosary, not allowed. Confession maybe once in three years? Pro-Gay, very and liberal. Women ordination, inclusive language, I could go on. But then my Archbishop was removed for having an affair with a women. So maybe I failed? I could not stay in an environment that was promiscuous and deeply unspiritual. Seminary should be a time of discernment. I discerned some very powerful things. I am not gay. I love the Rosary. I am conservative. I am not in favor of coffee table masses. I did gain and still love Liturgy of the Hours.

    Hi... just a few verses that seem contradictory. Please advise. Paul in the New Testament stated that Christ IS the Mediator (not was!). So why try to be a mediator when He is the one? Also, the Bible states that we as believers are a royal nation, kings and priests unto our God, applying to ALL believers. Thirdly... the Bible tells us not to call anyone Father, as we have One Father Who is in Heaven, and One Teacher, Who is the Christ.
    I believe in living a consecrated life, given to the Lord. But I struggle with the idea of being given a title as more than a servant or brother/sister, lest we take His place and become a self-proclaimed 'middle man' and basically an obstacle for people when it's Christ Who made the way. He IS the High Priest.

    • @tryingnottobeasmartass757
      @tryingnottobeasmartass757 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I hope this helps:
      A priest is not a mediator. The Bible said the entire Jewish people under the Old Covenant were a royal nation of priests unto God, but the priesthood of all believers under the Old Covenant did not rule out the ministerial priesthood under the Old Covenant anymore than the priesthood of all New Covenant believers rules out the ministerial priesthood under the New Covenant. "Father" reflects the fact that the priest is the spiritual father of his congregation. He is supposed to love and care for them as a father does his children. Jesus's words about calling no man father are not a literal ban on the term. The NT uses the word in the same meaning of spiritual father in such verses as Romans 4:11-16, Philippians 2:11, I Thessalonians 2:11, and James 2:21. In addition, the Apostle John uses the term in reference to a group of people in his first epistle (I John 2:13). He wouldn't have done so, let alone would it have been included in God-breathed Scripture, had Jesus meant what you have understood (misunderstood) the verse to mean.

    What a regular seminary teaches today is not authentic Bible nor orthodox Catholic doctrines. No wonder why so many young men have an incorrect view of chasity and celibacy....moral theologians in RC seminaries love to classify mortal and capitol sins as mere weaknesses. Fr Charles Curran's inaccurate and destructive positions on chasity and celibacy continue on.

  • @michaelciccone2194
    @michaelciccone2194 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    What about the gay recruiting going on at the high ranking seminary in Rome? A conservative seminarian was just booted out that place. How do you survive in an atmosphere that is toxic? RC seminaries want candidates that believe in the new agenda of the VATICAN. I was in the seminary back in mid 1970s.....glad I graduated seminary college and pursued a secular career

    heartbreaking. it's always painful to see a young man, meaning well, so misguided and Biblically illiterate that he throws his life away into an occult which isn't Christianity.
    may our Creator and Saviour have mercy on his ignorance and reach him with Truth.

    • @tony1685
      @tony1685 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Charles would you like to discuss what His Word says 'Truth' is, Charles?
      that way we can see who is following It and who is in denial......

    • @tony1685
      @tony1685 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Charles does His church deny and teach contrary Truth, Charles?

    • @tony1685
      @tony1685 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Charles _' _*_HIS_*_ Church doesn't.'_ - well, if the Bible says 'Commandments' are Truth (Psalm 119:142,151,160) and they don't keep nor teach Them - then this is proof that this isn't His church - doesn't common sense tell you this?
      _'...but the heretical sect _*_you_*_ belong to definitely teaches falsehood.'_
      _'sect'_ - they said the same thing about Paul and the early Christians in Acts 24:5 - so i am in good company, than you!
      _'heretical'_ - please use the word properly, you're obviously not or you'd be capable of proving it, but you aren't and you can't.
      so quit misusing it or prove it.
      and back to the proof - there are Ten Commandments from our Creator - Bible says These are Truth.
      your 'church' doesn't teach, preach nor follow Them.
      do you not see how obvious this is?

    • @tony1685
      @tony1685 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Charles you didn't address your 'church' not keeping Them.
      a 'heretick' is a hapax legominon - Paul used it in Titus 3:10 (KJV only) and variations of it ('heretical', 'heresy') to show one who isn't following Scriptural Truth (the Bible).
      so kindly do such or quit using the word which because you aren't Biblically literate enough to prove this.
      paragraph 2 - i said in Acts 24:5, Paul was said to be in a 'sect' - do you not read Sir?
      _' _*_They_*_ are members of God's Church.'_ - really? tell me this then, since you know so much about God's church -
      *1)* - did God's church keep Holy the 7th day Sabbath - or pretend the 1st day is now Holy?
      *2)* - did God's church pray to God Alone - or sinful humans, even dead humans (necromancy) like 'Hail Mary'??
      *3)* - did God's.....
      well those 2 are more than sufficient for proving which of us is following heresy and which isn't.
      please just use integrity, Sir - i do not care for discussing things with one who openly lies.
      right now your lies are out of ignorance - this is acceptable.
      but when you do discover Truth - you're held to higher expectations.
      so use integrity please.

    • @tony1685
      @tony1685 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Charles hey, you're one of the first to actually admit to this! - so my guess is that you believe (obviously erroneously) that Truth is negotiable?
      that Truth is subjective, not objective? that Truth can be changed - which the Bible is strongly against.
      however, i will inform you that you have also just admitted to (correctly too!) being the entity described in Daniel 7 (more specifically verses :23-:26)! - you did use integrity in this answer and i appreciate it!
      you just did what Keith Nestor and Steve Ray and literally hundreds of catholics have *Failed* to do - and for that i am thankful to you!
      now - since we both know that Truth isn't alterable, and that your 'church' wasn't given anything - i will ask, would you like Matt 16 explained to you so that you can know with confidence that you're following another god? - let me know!
      see, the Bible has all Christians covered - It says that the Sabbath will even be kept in Heaven to come (Isaiah 66:22-23) and this isn't negotiable.
      since we know the Ten Commandments actually are criteria for true church - and you've admitted to not keeping His Holy day - this says you and your 'church':
      1 - don't know God - see 1 John 2:3
      2 - don't love Jesus Christ - John 14:15
      3 - don't walk in Truth, are identified as a 'Liar' - 1 John 2:4
      *{note: 'keep' does not EVER = 'to change'}*
      _'God's Church never has prayed to dead people.'_ - i agree!
      *1)* - you don't know who is in Heaven, since the resurrection hasn't happened yet.
      *2)* - when you're pretending to speak with one who isn't there - it's called 'prayer'
      *3)* - nowhere in all the Word of God do you see Christians pretending it's ok to pray to humans - especially the dead (which is forbidden).
      *{or can you provide examples of any of these?}*
      notice my friend -
      Sabbath kept since Creation.
      Sabbath kept in all The OT.
      Sabbath was kept by all in the NT.
      Sabbath kept by Jew and Gentiles (Acts 13/Acts 18).
      Sabbath kept by Paul (Acts 17:2)
      Sabbath kept by a Christians' Example, Jesus Christ (which should be more than sufficient for any Christian!).
      Sabbath will be kept in Heaven to come!
      Sabbath has all this earth's history and prophecy covered!
      and this evening, world wide, all Christians will be celebrating the Holy 7th day Sabbath!!!
      thanks for your post, Charles - you're one of the first who actually didn't mind putting out a bit of Truth.
      but remember, your idea of this 'authority' isn't at all what you think it is - again, if you'd like it proven, just let me know 😜
