Like how there is a two speed transmission for slow crawling and fast run sections. I know I would use the higher speed to rally the Jeep across open areas and drift it around corners.

I ordered mine yesterday right after your video drop ...I did see the promo video of Axial at first I thought it was a real truck and they were showing it and then showing the version of their release ...I know your a non portal guy but I am thinking weather to do the build or just pull the portals out and put in my UMG 10 ii I really like that truck.....
In my taste i think the wheels are a smidge on the chunky side, though i understand the performance priorety.. really like the body and all the nipz on it. Was it in your previous video you mentioned that the ar45 also will be awaileble in a non portal version🤔 cause im dig’n the offset pumkin😀 portals...meeh🤷🏼♂️
nice video, now the fields are leveled between traxxas, axial and redcat , if i ever get an axial it will be the scx10 2 honcho bacause i like the body style and for the price... this one is a bit expencive to me... anyway i think this new axial can kick some serious ass , i will wait andwill see that

I have an Axial Wraith Spawn I am messing with and I went ahead and added Mamba X Waterproof ESC/1406-3800Kv Sensored Brushless Motor Combo ( Crawler Edition ). So I know its a rock racer but wanted to actually crawl with it as well so I set it up on the Mamba X on Crawler Mode I just wanted your opinion on that.... Thank you Kindly... Great Video!!! I Love my SCX10III as well...
It's beautiful! Fantastic footage man. Just need to know if a 550 Axe system will fit in there. I'm used to bashing and this has real potential to be my first crawler. If anyone else can recommend another system that will give super punch/speed in 2nd gear and an ultra smooth/quiet crawl in 1st let me know 👍
Idk...it's lacking that "wow" factor. Possibly because it's not something really "new" per say...it'll still sell like hotcakes though. I'm still stuck on my VS4-10 Pro...tough to like something else after building and driving that 🤷🏻♂️.
You did an excellent build... great choice on electronics. The body reminds me of a film i did 10 years ago.. brings back good memories :)

Yes, that body should fit without trouble. You'll have to use regular body mounts.

The geometry of the links to chassis skid is different, so probably not without some tinkering.

Yes it will, you may have to trim the motor cover and reposition the wiring.
