That's what was pointed out in the video. Other countries removed the artificial colorings but yet in the USA we still have the artificial dye junk, and it needs to be removed as well.
Artificial colorings and flavorings have always been toxic, causing cancer, etc. and are in EVERYTHING we consume and EVERYTHING we wear. So why are they only asking to ban them in cereals and only in Kellogg’s cereal 🤔
Good question. I think the customers are going after Kellogg because they're one of the biggest companies and if we convince them to remove the artificial dyes, other smaller stuff like Candy Brands and junk might also remove those artificials.
The goal was to cause conversation. They have done many other protests and exchanges with lawmakers, health officials, and other people who can influence changes yet received little media coverage. The protest in front of Kellogg's was meant to draw national and worldwide news attention to the topic and their plan worked. Now many others are having conversations about the dangers and are aware of such a movement exists. And going after the Big guy is a good tactic, if they somehow do influence Kellogg's to stop, it will pass along to many other of their products not just cereal and other companies will follow as well, changing the whole food industry.
