Some tips would be to get familiar with your editing apps, if your confused on something I strongly suggest watching tutorials, or if you have someone that you know who is pretty familiar with said app to ask them for help, if you just wanna do it on your own maybe just do random edits/videos trying random things and see what they do, you can learn a lot that way aswell, but either way depends on the person:3 I might do a Kinemaster tutorial one day- idk tho
