McMillan got injured in the beginning of the season, and got better right before the playoff. He had a good combine performance so that helped his case to get drafted that high
Jedd Fisch turned a winless Arizona program into a top 15 team with a win over Oklahoma, how is there any speculation as to whether or not he’s a good coach?
True but he still went 1-11 his first year there. He will absolutely get the Fuskies back on track, much to my chagrin, but it's not gonna happen overnight. 9-3 is their ceiling, 6-6 floor. Next year though, who knows?
@@jeremygilbert7989 do you not understand how college football works?? Your first season as a head coach you’re literally inheriting the giant mess that got the last head coach fired 🤣🤣🤣 it takes 2-3 even 4-5 years to rebuild a program and culture. As a huge Husky fan, I’ve been really feeling the reality of losing all that talent. I knew we would be good in ‘23 but I figured 2 losses (Oregon and USC) and another Alamo Bowl. But what a great year and great team. While I think the SEC was down a bit last year we were as good as anyone and it was a blast. But here comes the hangover. I’m much more pessimistic than you are. Jedd Fisch is a proven “rebuilder” but I was really hoping to pilfer more Arizona players lol. That team was really good by the end of the year but losing Fisch might hurt their cohesion in the Big 12. We are going to hit some rocky times the next 2 years and I could easily see us going anywhere from 4 wins to 7 wins. I don’t blame you for not even trying to predict their schedule this year, it’s almost comical how many unknowns there are. Anyway, thanks for a good profile and not saying what every sportswriter will probably say at some point in the season….”Washington is the TCU of college football” lol
You’re not a husky fan if you thought we were losing to Oregon at home when we beat them the year before and returned everything. I agree with road USC game, that looked like it was going to be tough during rhe preseason. 11-1 with a PAC-12 title was my prediction but I also thought possible Oregon state loss
What are you, an infant? I guess you’re not really a Husky fan if you thought we would lose to USC and Oregon State? That’s a childlike mentality that thinks that losing to a good opponent is not being a fan. I based that thought on logic and the emotional unpredictability of college football. missed some info man. McMillan was injured thus his lack of production stats, and Fisch had earned respect already by turning around a miserable program. Washington absolutely isnt what they were last year but they are certainly still a competitive program. I guess as a lifelong fan, I'm just happy theyre even being talked about lol
Please tell us Husky fans something we don't already know. Here is the thing whatever so called football experts like yourself don't realize, is the talent and the transfers that fisch is brought in. So keep doubting Udub, we love playing with a chip on our shoulder.
Landon Hatchett didnt transfer. I think this roster can make peoples heads turn and realise that even if you lose your roster, theres still hope your season the next year isnt a complete wash. Fisch has one of the best recruiting classes for 2025 that the huskies have seen in a long time. that means nothing now i understand with some guys probably decommitting at some point but hes done a great job at making the fans calm down from panic mode. Seems like he could be a bit more accurate, McMillan still likely better than Polk, Landon is still at udub, and both guards transfered to ol'Miss.
