- the double blaze spawner xp farm graces our world today 🔥 in episode 25 of the survival series we head to the nether and build the first double blaze spawner xp farm i have ever built. this will give us tons of blaze rods and a lot of experience.

I love how the Nether is so unbearably hot that water simply evaporates on placement, but snow can not only remain frozen in the Nether, but even lava does nothing to it.

only the packed (Blue) ice, regular ice will melt from torch light, packed ice is super ice in that regard.

Blazes take a ton of damage when in powdered snow. Unfortunately they lack any sense of self preservation so they just kinda sit in the block and die

Most of the mobs lack any sense of self preservation. Especially a villager that is underwater and really close to the surface.

Would be a great touch to turn those snow cubes into ghasts. Add some wool eyes and mouths, and then some tentacles hanging down.

Super cool build! I had a long day at work and wanted to kick back and chill. Then Wattles pulls a falling fake out. Embarrassed to admit that I gasped out loud and heart skipped a beat. lol. You think ya so funny. 😄 Seriously though, I really like the build. Simple design, but it looks like it works quite well. And the surprise end was noice.

When hit blazes float. Even the One you are not hitting. My favourite way of moving blazes is through minecarts, like logical did.
Also a few blocks of suffocatiom damage and one hit kill, booom 🔥

You know, it's kinda weird that snow can survive in the nether, covered in lava, with creatures made of fire all around it.
You would expect it to melt.
You can contain lava with 4 snow blocks, but water from a bucket evaporates immediately 😂
Snow Golems die in the Nether, yet a single snow block is perfectly fine lmfao. Water evaporates too bruh...

Wattles, you could use vines in the blaze chamber to prevent them from flying up when you ~harvest~ them. Also you could use a piston to push the blaze at the corner of the one hallway.
Vines you say? I've got a blaze farm. The blaze drop passed the vines and can't go back up?

Have you thought about placing powder snow to lower the health of the blaze before they get to the killing chamber?
Why do that? Just use a crusher on a timer
Hey wattles, love your survival series! A bit of advice on the farm:
1. Just remember that spawners spawn when the player is within a *spherical* radius of 16 blocks
2. You can just drop the left funnel down one block to make it even with the other.
3. trade a little with piglins and get fire res if you don't have the materials to brew it, as you hate using shields, it will be a lot better when dealing with blazes and a good insurance incase of falling into the lava oceans
I'm barely 5 minutes in, but you can shut off the spawner with enough light. I have a feeling they're going to cause you issues. I'm really hoping this is a lava funnel design ... and that you use the lava to move all the blaze to the same "removal area". Greatly increases spawn rates.

Ah yes snow being solid while lava flows on top makes so much sense, Minecraft logic at its finest lol
Great Zombie Piglin trap: funnel them into berry bushes. As the mob presses in an effort to get at you, they push themselves into the grinder. All you have to do is stand there, listen to the abominable screeching, and soak up the profit.

Yes lava pushes blaze on bedrock and no you don't need to use snow blocks.

Hey wattles just so you know, if you have a carpet on a powdered snow bloc, that's 0 fall damage from any hight, so you get a faster access to your exp farm, since you have snow already everywhere. Just checkout if they fixed it before you jump all the way xD

I found a Fortress with two blaze spawners, I was almost unalived trying to rangle them things, potion of fire resistance saved me.
Whenever Wattles has a blaze head on, his new name should be Hothead.

I plan to be fully caught up by tomorrow or later tonight, but seriously spider farm in front of it three slabs level with the trap doors and two stairs one on either side of the chest it will look good and be extremely efficient. No more jumping lol

You should build nether villages that are relevant to the new biomes... the could be crimson, warped, quartz, and nether brick and could remake the taiga buildings with basalt and Blackstone
It would be great to see a wither skeleton farm in this Minecraft series since you didn't do it in your last one. If you wanted a challenge you could make the farm before you defeat the wither boss. This farm will also produce coal for smelting things and bones because you don't already have a regular skeleton farm and wither skeletons skulls for almost infinite nether stars. I really believe this would be a great thing to see in this Minecraft series.

It'd be amazing to put a super smelter connected to the double blaze farm. Built in fuel.
I have 2 blaze spawners in my bedrock world that are literally 8 blocks away from each other lol! Best find EVER!
I have a double blaze spawner on my realms near my wither skeleton farm. The spawners are about 7 apart. I still need to figure out the best AFK spot so both farms would be running.
My wither skeleton farm is just like one that silentwisperer made that sends them to the Overworld.
If you want to speed up the spawners you may consider using vines on the lower sections. If the coding for 'climbing' hasn't changed since 1.17 then those blaze touching the vines will not count towards the spawners. Vines won't burn and since you aren't swinging your sword near their faces you shouldn't inadvertently hit the vines. Works well in my 2x2 chamber but not sure how well it would work out in something only one block wide.
Got lucky and found two blaze spawners 10 blocks apart haha. Perfection! Even then it’s a slow go to AFK this thing, but it works. My skeleton spawner farm gives more bang for the buck for an equal amount of time though, which I found interesting. But at least I now have more blaze rods than I’ll ever know what to do with lol.
Wattles you sould get a diamond or netherite sword with some good enchants (love your vids keep up the good work)

wattles use the fortress as ur nether hub like what Mojang recommends in the guide books
In the killing chamber you can add vines too prevent blazes from climbing up

I built your blaze spawner farm in 1.17 which was brilliant ( world no longer loads) so I've not long started a 1.18 world and found 2 blaze spawners unfortunately they are 36 blocks away so I think just out of range on the X and 16 on the Z axis, might have to just do a single spawner farm with both over a lava ocean will be fun to build a safety platform with the magna cubes,Hoglins& wither skeletons spawning😅
wattles you can use tweakrro's free cam ability in order to check if the farm is working properly without needing a second cam account or needing to move the player to check
So I actually made this as I had double blaze spawners, but it’s not working because they don’t fall into the lava they just fly up. I am standing in the perfect block for both to be activated they just aren’t falling into the lava
