We took a tour together to see Fort El Morro and Old San Juan. I told them I wanted to see Roberto Clemente's Coliseum and The Bacardi Rum factory !! It was awesome ! Thanks !!
When I was there in the 80s with the navy I remember a bottle of Bacardi cost less than a 6 pack of coke to mix with it (something like $4 for rum and $6 for coke but maybe thats just wishful memories). What are the prices in PR now compared to the US?

Is the gift shop open to public without having to purchase a tour? I will be visiting PR in two weeks but will not be able to do a tour because I will have my underage children with me. But I wanna get gifts to bring back to the mainland.
We went to Bacardi when we were there. We did buy a bottle of the 25 year old rum and got out bottle engraved. We were celebrating our 25th Anniversary so that rum was bottled the year we got married. We drink a shot from the bottle each anniversary. With 33 shots in the bottle, it should last us 16 years. Too bad we didn’t get too see real distillery buildings. My husband is a brewer and distiller. He was a bit disappointed. I just wanted more Sunrises!!! I still have my cups.
The historical tour is the only option for minors (children under 17), but you may want to confirm for a 4 year old. It would be pretty boring for a child that young.
my family went for the tour, my 8 and 2 year old grandchildren were with us. they had a great time. its not like you will be there for hours and hours.
