How did he ignore Daymond? He was being bombarded with questions left and right. And he backs out because he had 1 question for Marks offer? 🤦🏻♂️ Either way Mark's offer was much better in the end.
Daymond made him an offer and he never replied to it, never commented it, prioritized other questions over dealing with Daymond. He obviously ignored him and did it on purpose. He was trying to avoid giving him an answer before hearing more offers. He just never told him that explicitly.
And I'm not saying that was wrong.

it's crazy to me that the sharks sometimes don't wanna let people hear out other offers like yes they're coming to pitch themselves to get a deal but that doesn't mean they wanna take the first one they get especially if other sharks are interested and willing to compete
It’s just a negotiation tactic when a shark feels like he gets more leverage by putting on the pressure. In Daymond’s case it often backfires

One of the sharks said its editing that makes it look bad. Cause this isn’t done in ten minutes we only see ten minutes. Most of them are an hour or more so when someone gives you an offer and 20+ plus min go by and they ignore your offer and aren’t talking to you it’s reasonable to get upset. To us its like less than a minute that goes but it’s actually way more than that

Teaming with Mark was a no brainer, I could tell the guy was feeling and probably wanted mark more anyway, Mark just fits in better and gave him a wayyy better deal, Damon got pressed he got out done and knew they guy would have gone for Mark anyway and just said no more just to be petty😂
Daymond actually made more sense because he has relationships with several gyms. And the deal with Mark never closed.

He literally said he ignored him for 20 minutes. It's not about playing it cool. Just imagine you offer someone 500k for their business. That they asked for. You tell them you'd do it and they ignore you for 20 minutes. And you're in the room with them and standing right in front of them. You'd feel disrespected too.

This might be just me, but what do I know. If a company is generating $10m+ a year and not profitable, something major isnt being done correctly.. I understand there are alot of factors for every type of business but it just seems a little odd for a fitness equipment business. You get a product developed, ok costs money, but then generate $4m a year, decent margins, no profit? ... projected $12m a year, barely profit? ... maybe im missing something.. anyone want to weigh in?

Daymond's a f ing child. This is one thing I like about the Canadian version of this show, is that they always let the person hear out all the offers and then make a decision, not just be bullied into going with the first Baby-Daymond that speaks.

For the price of this, you can get between a 6 months to one year subscription package at a really decent gym, depending on where you are, even a luxury gym and have access to multiple equipment, meet people and be motivated. Nearly 900 dollars for this, come on!
Then when your 6 months is up you have to pay another $900.... Thats like saying its better to rent an apartment for $1000 a month because it only costs you 12 grand for the year instead of dropping 150k on a house.. Better to own then to subscribe

I think once Mark looked closer into the finances he realized it was a wreck. Multiple other investors, all these kinds of advisory shares being handed out, that weird credit line based on his revenue stream (28 percent of revenue!!!). Great product, many many poor financial decisions.

Have you ever watched the show? There are no rules like that. You don't have to hear everyone, in fact, in some cases it is better not to since if you get an offer and everyone else goes out it gives the shark that gave the original offer more leverage to change the offer.
