Today, real value-added is in having people understand the intuition. The why and when. Not the how that is easily done by a computer. I think more emphasis should be put on explaining with plain words what each row total, column total means. Explain what figures should look like if AI usage had nothing to do with age then the other way arround. Focussing too much on formulas, numbers and mathematical/statistical terms do scare people away. Among those who will follow till the end, some may have great scores in their exams but not really be able to effectively use khi2 test in the real life. The notions of Expected and Observed values are key here and deserved more focus. Once we understand and feel them, khi2 becomes just kind of a common sense.

My videos are not “teaching.” They are just overviews/summaries/reinforcements of what students already learned in class. I don’t expect students to fully understand the topic in under 7 minutes. Also note that over 95% of people who will view this video will not apply it in real life. They simply need it to fulfill the requirement of a course and move on. Nonetheless, you’ve highlighted strong points and a different channel might be required to address them.
