How about a show in Vegas!
This was amazing lads
your shit is ok and by ok i mean sick and by shit i mean art. love you
What do you say???Shithot!!! 💚☮
Sam is an insane guitarist, so underrated.
Not by us. Shippo is the greatest
@@YardActBand Thanks for keeping me sane for the past year, you guys fucking rock.
Quality set lads. I'm listening to this from Hanoi, Vietnam. Might be a nice spot for a gig 🤔
Not that underrated : he’s on KEXP
he is doing the Telecaster proud for sure
Found them awhile ago on accident. It was a very happy accident lol they remind me of Cake with more of an edge. Like the knife that cuts through Cake.
Genuinely the most exciting British band I've heard in years - the last bastion of hope this once great nation's music has. and from Yorkshire too. nice one.
Wow. They won me over right quick.
If you are lucky enough to see them play live they are incredible!
Thanks to Troy and KEXP for finding, curating, and sharing great art for the people. Yard Act nailed this set.
Morris Dancing to Sham69 would be a cultural highlight!!!!
If I could like this a million times still wouldn't be enough
Amazing new band. Gang of 4 vibes.
I'd say more Half Man Half Buscuit
I literally just discovered this band. I get a lot of music suggestions on TH-cam because of all the different music I listen to. The song was Trenchcoat Museum. My first thought after how great the song is was that they definitely have performed on KEXP. Lo and behold
I've never been one to be proud of a place i am from, but I am from Leeds so I take pleasure knowing that at least this city provided us with at least one great thing. That thing being Yard Act.
You should be proud.
Rhythm Guitar is a lost art. So is the art of soloing with triads. I love their raw sound and right sounds.
there is nobody in the business like these guys
There's so many good bands coming out of the UK right now, and Yard Act might be the best.
Yard has been my new fav band right from when I heard them a few months ago
Jay Russell is my all time favourite drummer. Sounds so good!
Album/band of the year, saw them in Hackney few weeks ago...this set is better, i like the fact James is singing a bit more ..lovely stuff
Yard Act - I have listened to this session 4 times since yesterday trying to work out what's missing when it dawned on me that there's absolutely nowt missing! This is a close to perfection as it gets, can't wait to see you when you're back in the UK.
Incredible. Thank you!!!
This band is so brilliant and insanely awesome..Thanks KEXP for showing another amazing rock band.. Now I’m going to go in the rabbit hole on TH-cam find everything they did
This band kicks so much ass!
This is so different in so many ways. It has some cool paradoxes in the songs. Keep doing what you're doing Yard Act!
KEXP is my original source for watching crap loads of Speedy Ortiz, seeing loads of bands I love pop up on here is glorious! Seeing Yard Act in Brighton this week, so hyped
When I hear idiots say 'there's just no good music coming out these days' - I slap them in the back of the head and tell them to listen to KEXP. Then I slap them again. And The Yard is a perfect example of what you can find that is great. Especially when you don't rely on garbage like commercial radio or Spotify algorithms.
Brighton Chalk was an amazing show!
Absolute quality. Been listening to these since they come out and it makes me want to leave south and move up Leeds. Got family up there too fuck London long live Leeds!!!!!
Utterly fantastic
Thanks so much for bringing these guys on. Awesome awesome act.
What an absolutely brilliant band. Love it!!
Oh yeah this was legendary, so glad it got recorded
Been watching these guys for a while and they've evolved so much live, really coming into their own. Love James's weird little ad-libs and how everyone has a mic now! See you in NYC later this year!
This was before an absolutely EPIC show in Seattle. Looking forward to the next tour already.
I’m obsessed ❤❤❤
Absolutely brilliant!!! ❤
I love this band! can´t to see here in Brazil!
Excellent! Love it! Very good and timely performance.
I'm reminded of The Clash, mixed with CAKE listening to these guys, love it! 🤘😃
Cake and Gang of Four

I saw then in February at bodega club Nottingham. Fucking totally amazing.james and Sam both took the time for a chat afterwards.. I'm blown away by the album and treasure it as part of my toolkit to face the apocalypse... standing round hand in hand watching the world 🌍 burn.....
Best album 2022 hands down
What we’ve been waiting for

They got the sound, content and groove. Interesting guitar playing. I'm in. Bowery Ballroom NYC Oct 14.
Great band
Awesome to see. These guys have been doing great things for years in Menace Beach, Hookworms, Holodrum etc.
what a show! :)
Only just found this; so good 😊 😊🎉
If Mike Skinner, John Cooper Clarke and The Fall formed a supergroup. Cocksure attitude, a lively bassline, and bucket loads of northern wit
bit of early happy mondays 24hour and bummed era too, plus ian dury & the blockheads, and a little pulp too i reckon
Feeling awkward with comments / replies, not done before, but fuck yes we are in the precence of creative and political artists.
This is a very nice little band. they could be the next big thing.
Simply the best new band out there. Not only was I honored to get on the guest list at the show. They all came out to sign records and just talk with their Fans. Nobody does THAT anymore. They have a life long fan in ME! 🖖
check out fellow west yorksers Working Mens Club they're fekin imense too
Realmente muy buenos. Trascendental
Big up his legend vinyl shop in leeds and good for flyers jumbo rec
Hope they stop by for another sesh this week and do Pour Another this time ❤️
If John Cooper Clarke had a band. This is a find, very impressed!
How am I only seeing this?! This has just made me even more sad that I’m not around to see them on their UK tour next month
Totally love this band, what a great rock music. Come to Brasil when possible.
Wow. I'm a amazed how well these travel... I hope you get to see them live .peace bro.
@@cityboy9301 yeahhh, i'm really excited to see them live. I hope they came to Brasil soon as possible. Abraços!!!!
Reminiscent of another great band from Leeds - The GANG OF FOUR - late 70s early 80s legendary post/ punk...these guys are very good...coming to Toronto Oct 7th The Axis Club
I’m too old for the “best latest band” schtick, but I saw these in Leicester and the were remarkable. Go and see them. Buy their stuff. Make them make more music.Make James take his coat off. Although I notice he is wearing it here.
YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Lets go
badass
Welcome to France in June guys !!!
lovely Tele sound, they are the offspring of Gang Of Four
Fuckin love yard act me, can't wait to see em live
épico
Oh, well. Catchy and noisy. Love it!
This band is fresh as fuck
Nice! Guitar reminds me a bit of Andy Gil Gang Of Four...
Однозначно это очень крутая группа! Мне очень понравилась.
That performance of Rich was fucking wild!
Happy Mondays would be proud
As groundbreaking today as the Mondays were in the late 80s
Love the UK punk vibes
Fucking awesome🔥
Cool shiz
The fall + the talking heads
💯☮🌼
Ace
Gem Spa T-shirt!!
It's Talking Heads inspiration it's pretty obvious. Great band.
🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺
7:54 is still my favourite. Pulling a Jeff as well now.
Weeeeee all hate Leeds, and Leeds, and Leeds!!! Leeds, Leeds, Leeds are falling apart again!!! Banging lads. Instant addiction! Sam is stupendous!! Hearing a little bit of Alex T, a little bit of Nick C, a little bit of Rev and the M, a little bit of magic! A lad from the Lane, in Yorkshire's capital, Sheffield. You know it makes sense! Dus tha know. Get theesens t'Leadmill!
i was there
if the talking heads and the dead Kennedys had baby that liked funk
@@czofnas I hear a lot of the Fall in their music too personnally
Great band. See them live if you get the chance.
Saw them in Hebden Bridge a village in Yorkshire earlier this year and is likely to be my gig of the year...and I see loads. Don't miss them if get to see them anywhere.
I saw them February at Nottingham bodega club the night before Russia started the war in ukraine.i only hope they get a second album out before the impending apocalypse..boomshanka..
Got tickets for 02 Leeds in November..if they is a November
Saw them in San Francisco. One of my favorite shows this year.
James smirking about Albert’s strong wrists
The leader singger looks like he could be the bastard son of the lead singer of The Cardiacs.
Fuck me . Magnificent.
Временами музыка похоже на Franz Ferdinand, на Gang of Four.
This is some serious shit.
Before see this i love 20% more the band
