I mean yes, the girl is disappointed because the guy is gay, but only because she wanted to go out with him, not because she was disgusted or scared by his sexual orientation. This is a huge step. I absolutely cannot express my happiness with mere words.
Before, non-heterosexual relationships were only fleeting glances and hints but not full-blown, shows of affection like this in a kpop MV. While, the directors and the producers MAY NOT (we don't know if they actually intended to support non-heteresexual relations or not) have presented these scenes to support non-heterosexual relationships, the fact that they chose to portray it a more neutral way (not being against or for it explicitly; it is all up for interpretations) is a BIG WIN for human rights in SKorea. It is being portrayed and the end of 2014 and the beginning of 2015 seem to be the times that these themes have been presented in KPOP. Its fantastic. Finally some real-world diversity.
