For any of those interested, especially in the length and style of this song, it was largely a tribute to their former guitarist and long time friend, who died suddenly at the age of twenty six. It's not perfect, but how many times have you tried to explain your emotions and have it come out perfectly? Being an artist is a scary thing, and writing from a place of personal loss and hurt makes whatever you create from those places hurtful to open yourself up to. The irony is the more you allow yourself to be hurt by those things, the more genuine (and better IMO) the performance feels.

he should stick to singing like this the raw sound gives it a much powerful sound. I dont like the dreamy reverb voice from the album as much as this performance.
Viet Cong is a far better name than 'Preoccupations'. I hate it when anybody cedes to outside pressure. Social Justice is the antithesis of art and free expression.
